I’m sorry to say we did not have a good experience at this Long John Silver‘s ,it’s been a while since I’ve been to longjohns silvers , we used to have one in Schererville they close down but I do not remember our food being very greasy like this to where you could push down on it with a fork and the grease was just puddle on all the meat , also did not taste the same as the Long John Silver‘s we remember. Kind of just all greasy food now .
My husband & I got there at 5:15 pm today, placed a to-go order, were given “#18” and 5 other people BEHIND us were given “lower #’s” 12, 14, 16, etc., really?? All while other people were picking up online orders as well as the folks at the drive-thru & the ones that came behind us GETTING THEIR ORDERS & gone on their way. All the while the lousy manager was arrogant & kept yelling at the employees about “nothing” while she was working the line & putting the food in the boxes which she held just under her chin wearing NO MASK & no doubt spitting & spraying as she was yelling!! At that point which was 5:40 we asked the young lady taking the orders at the register “how much longer” for our order while simultaneously noticing how the manager was CLEARLY spitting & breathing all over peoples food, so we canceled the order & got our refund!! Manager literally “threw the food in the garbage” & yelled at the cashier as though it was her fault that we canceled. CLEARLY she should NOT be managing anywhere as SHE was the one intimidating ALL the employees...we live in Crown Point but will NEVER go to this one ever again & tell our friends & neighbors as well!!!
Absolutely dirty and unappealing even after we paid we did not want to stay. Cashier made a mistake on our order. She had to call someone to void it off and she was mad saying she already has batter on her hands. Had to wait for drink refils because no one was around. Everything looked old dirty and greasy. Bathroom was discusting! This will never stay open. There are other places to go that aren't so unappealing! I did a survey from my reciept and heard from no one. Someone from corporate should go and dine in there and give their honest opinion. We will not go back.
The best location in the Region, fast, efficient, and reliable. The drive-thru order takes less than ten minutes if the line is short.
I was so disappointed. It was right before closing time and all my food had a funny taste to it. It all went in the trash.
Went there tonight and ordered the 8 piece fish meal, got home and had everything but the fish?♀️?♀️?♀️
What happen to their crispy crumbs & why is the food so greasy & why so pricey? Nothing like it use to be! It's a NO for me.

Fresh, hot food. I so enjoyed having soft hushpuppies and fish!!!!
Went to the drive up the staff were very friendly. I order the fish and chicken platter and clams. The class were good and very hot. However the fish was just warm and the chicken was the same. The hush puppies were burnt and the fries were cold. I like LJS, I've never had this issue before I hope it's not going to be the new norm.
