What a great restaurant. Drove to Crown Point from Illinois for pierogi. The pierogi were fantastic! Also had lunch before we headed home. Everything was delicious! Will be back.

Got to try some of the pierogis for the first time on Easter. They were absolutely amazing, except for one.Unfortunately a prune pierogi still had a full pit in it and now I have to schedule a dentist appointment. Thankfully I got it, and not one of the elderly people at Easter dinner.Your food is amazing, just please be more careful.
Great little dinner. They have a bit of everything. They are the same folks from Piorgi Square, so you know the piorgis are top notch.I'm partial to the party melt, but had the Philly recently and that was tasty. Nice ppl. Good food.They also have Valparaiso Velvet ice cream if you need a treat after or just need a treat.
Me and my girlfriend came in for dinner a couple weeks ago, and we were so happy with our experience. Service was great and the food was spot on. Will definitely be back soon
The former owner ran a great establishment. Very good quality food and reasonable prices. Since the new owners took over - over a year ago - they have no idea what they are doing. Evert single time I've tried to order from them, they've been out of the item I requested. I settle for something else, and it's nowhere near as good as it used to be under the previous management. To be in business over a year and still not know how to keep inventory stocked is absolutely terrible.
Went there first time yesterday and cashier and cook were very friendly and sweet! It’s hard these days to find good customer service so was pleasantly surprised. Food was good and looking forward to returning!
At first glance it looked to be a decent place with a nice atmosphere. The menu was extensive. That's where it ended for me though. I found a crusty substance stuck to the plate benath my burger that was in no way a part of the meal I'd ordered. Spots on glasswared. This stuff is important to me, especially in a time when we're all made aware of cleanliness being of prime importance. Won't return.
My husband brought our whole family on a Sunday afternoon! Fun watching “scoob” in back room . Great friendly service! I recommend the the “monster grilled cheese” Excellent! Was a great afternoon! Thanks Jax’s !
