Best smoothies in northwest Indiana
I brought my 5 yo son here to get a kids smoothie and was super excited to try the bubble tea! My sons smoothie was fine, but the bobas in my bubble tea were completely inedible. I nearly choked on one when it came through my straw. They were hard as rocks and when I bit into one it felt like I was chewing on a tire. The flavor of the honeydew coconut milk tea was very nice, but the near death experience and tiny bits of tire rubber floating in the drink ruined it for me. Very upsetting.
Asked about their lattes since it says on the menu that it’s made with the chiller base and not espresso. They said it’s made with espresso, yet when I got my drink, it ended up being an iced coffee. I asked for a latte made with espresso which is standard at every shop you go to. I got the exact opposite. They have really gone downhill since switching to whatever this new product/name is. Will not return.
My details of this workplace, im in love with all of the bowls and smoothies! but... I was just wondering why you as an owner think it's totally okay to allow your employees who request time off for a covid test to continue working under the possibility that they are covid positive. this is completely unacceptable and i don't feel comfortable coming in for my smoothies etc when you have a workplace with no protocol for covid.
My lovely place for coffee!
Love me some jamba
The staff. I just came through the drive thru and they have cups in the drive thru window for sale. My elderly mom is cup crazy and always buys cups at different coffee shops. She asked the girl at the window if she could see a cup. The girl wouldn’t let her see it and then finally let her see it. She said if you want to buy a cup then come in. My mom is elderly and in a wheelchair! You need to train your employees to have respect!
Experience I had today at this location was subpar for the prices they ask for their menu items. My girlfriend and I have dietary restrictions (vegans) and ordered smoothies with 2 plant based English muffins. With a name like that you would think their vegan but no. I told the individual taking the order that the food needs to be vegan. When we got up to the window she informed me they no longer had muffins but croissants. Said that was fine but was given a muffin that had egg and cheese on it.(even though the website states they don’t use egg and the cheese is vegan. Girlfriend asked if there’s butter in the croissants to which the girl replied “yeah, but let me go check”. My girlfriend then restates we’re vegan to which she replied “yeah I know” very dismissively. Paying $20 for two English muffins and two smoothies you think they would have a better customer service experience. So you knew we’re vegan but don’t care and still want to feed us animal based products. If your looking for food options look else where.
