1st time here food was absolutely delicious service was great i will be back
My husband absolutely LOVES Beggar's, it's his all time favorite. I think the buffet has returned which is awesome. The only drawback is that Beggar's is quite loud, it really echos in there esp. when party tables are in attendance. I'm not a fan of TV and music blaring either when going out to eat but that's me and it's bearable.Food is typical, fried mozzarella sticks, nachos, garlic bread. Pizza is a super great quality of deep dish. It's huge and almost need a mini shovel to pick up each piece.
This is the third time this has happened to us. Tonight my family and I tried to eat here, but the staff definitely didn't seem like they wanted us to eat. We ordered minutes after being seated we were there about an hour and a half never received our pizza. Once again they had something start going on in their party room after we arrived and all three servers including the one that hiding behind the bar were only taking care of the party room ignoring us completely. Even the hostess was helping serve that room a total of four people. We never got our pizza ended up having to go speak with someone and tell them after an hour and a half we wanted to leave take the pizza off the bill. It turned out they hadn't even started on it. The server hiding behind the bar after awhile was ours she wouldn't even walk on our side of the room she obviously knew she messed up and didn't wish to face us. She had even come by us after we had been there 45 minutes and told that our pizza was almost ready. So no I would not recommend this place to anyone. Sad thing is I've been eating beggars pizza for at least 25 years.
So disappointed in the pizza I ordered tonight. It was flat! Hardly any sausage or cheese on it. The restaurant area was closed and after my husband picked up the pizza they locked the doors closing early. I would have returned it. Will be calling tomorrow.I guess "laying it on thick" doesn't always apply.
Good pizza, they really pile on the toppings. Wings were also very good.
We got there at 7:45 p.m and didnt talk to a waitress until 8:05 p.m . I asked her for a lemonade but got watered down sprite, but she corrected it. We placed our order and we received undercooked chicken wings! Brown on the outside cold on the inside they wanted to make us some more but no thank you! We also ordered bosoc sticks and those were cold inside as well. I felt we were rushed because they were trying to walk out at 9 instead of close at 9!!
Always loved there pizza out here in Indiana living in Chicago most my life it was hard to find a good pizza place that tastes good with out driving hours out of the way, so in short I'll always recommend Beggars pizza out here in indiana
I absolutely love this place. I’m from Chicago and have always ate at beggars pizza. It’s always good to have a great taste of home.
Orders have always been correct. If you like chicken wings, the jumbo wings are worth the price!Last time weather was bad, the order wasn't quite ready they told me to sit in my car and they ran it out to me!Deep dish pizza very good......lots of cheese.Worth stopping buy for takeout
We got our usual... Chunck sausage, onions, and mushrooms. It was great! We also ordered the pick 3 apps. Typical deep-fried options. We had mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, and Jalapeño poppers. Nothing special but came out really quick, so they were ok in my book! Service was good too!
