Matt at the window got my order wrong and then was rude. Claimed that’s not what I ordered. Then smarted off and said “My bad”. On top of that one sandwich did not have the right condiments. The burger wasn’t all that great. Won’t be back!
Completely dead inside. No more table service. Took at a kiosk to order. Very weird. We didn't enjoy our food this time. Mine was a ketchup burger, you know more ketchup on it instead of beef. Cup of chili was good. Tables looked dirty. Watched cook, constantly rubbing his nose with gloves on then go back to cooking food or play on his phone with his gloves on then go cook more. Kinda unsanitary.
Would leave zero stars if I could. Restaurant was closed when I pulled into the drive through at 10:15pm. Paper sign on drive through speaker that could not be read because the cheap tape used to hold it up had come off. Waste of my time and fuel. Very disappointed!
We went early around 10:15 and it wasn’t busy of course. Fast service and food was great! Clean dining area and Beth rooms.
Poor customer service! I ordered lunch for my son earlier in the afternoon since he had to go to work. I also ordered a coke for myself. When I got home my coke turned out to be a root beer. I didn’t drink it and have the whole drink still and receipt. When my husband got home we went back to this Steak N’ Shake and ordered lunch for ourselves. I informed them about the drink error and showed my receipt. Asked if I could just get a refund for their error. Keep in mind I had just ordered 2 more meals. I was told there is nothing they can do for the drink error. I considered telling them they could just keep the food I had just ordered, but I didn’t. Instead I won’t be back to this Steak N’Shake and will take my business elsewhere. Yes, it was just a drink but the point is, they are lacking in customer service. If they can’t own their mistakes and make it right with their customers, they are going to lose a lot more customers.
Staff was friendly, the place and bathrooms were clean and the food was fast and correct. You order from a kiosk now which is really easy to use.
Amazing ? the burgers are always so good! And the kiosks work good you can understand quickly how to work it. The only thing is there isn't anybody that every walks around to make sure we don't need anything because we waited 5 min till someone at the counter gave us a box for my fries. (The fries are AMAZING ?)
You order at the kiosk and pick up your meal when they call your number. Food is still good. I actually like the setup. However, they need to deep clean not just wipe off counters and tables. The floor was sticky, high chairs very dirty and walls and other things need to be thoroughly cleaned.
Food was good but my milkshake this particular trip was not. Was poorly made and not the quality I'm used to from Steak n Shake. I will definitely give them another chance though. Been a long time customer.
I was having a rough day I was in the mode for Steak and Shake they serve best food ever the manager was awesome she got a beautiful smile she was awesome for the second time every time I come in she makes me feel great she had the best team ever food was hot and amazing the team had a great energy they're efficient and the food was out of this world thank you guys .that's how they do it in Columbus indiana .stop By And enjoy someSteak and shake
