The food is great. I order just about everyday but if I’m paying for a BOWL of soup I expect a bowl. STOP putting CUP quantity in my BOWL PURCHASE! Haven’t even been getting half of bowl. What’s the point! As a matter of fact I will just start opening my preorder food right on the counter and check before I leave.
Great place for lunch! My daughter and I both had the combo sandwich/salad. Excellent and good food for the price. It did take a bit to get our take out but like everywhere else I assume they were short staffed. The manager kept apologizing which was nice but completely understood it. Would highly recommend!
Very nice, clean place. Very friendly cashier, and the man that kept apologizing for taking so long for my order to come out. But I only waited probably 3mins. We ordered the Savannah Salad and it was amazing! 1st time there. And will definitely be back again.
Took 50 minutes to receive our food, and the food was just okay. They were out of several menu items, some of which we weren’t made aware of until they brought the food out. Seemed to be lacking leadership in the store. Only gave 3 stars because our visit a month ago was fine - otherwise would have been a 1 star based off todays visit. Maybe today was just an off day.
Melt in your mouth, Reuben, and a large sweet tea x 2 refills.Really dig this spot. Friendly, patient staff when it's time to order. So many delicious choices on the menu.
Food was cold and potatoes had some sort of defect that was black and gross. Tasted rotten. Maybe it's just evening staff, but they weren't keen on fixing the issues. I don't even have high expectations. Just basic not getting food poisoning type expectations.. ?
Service is always good here. It is a quick stop in the evening to grab an order to go. I enjoy either dining inside or outdoors on the covered patio. Excellent WIFI with iced tea makes everyone happy.
The place feels like a mix between a fast food joint and a restaurant. You order your meal at the register and you get a number. You get your drinks and go find a seat. The number helps the employees bring the food to the proper place. It's a similar system to what McDonald's has when you order from the machines. The difference between McDonald's and McAllister however, is that you can tip the waiter here.The "world famous" sweet tea, is alright. But i am not a fan of sweet tea to begin with. The sandwiches were also pretty good. Nothing too memorable about them. But these are just my humble opinions. The carrot cake however, is absolutely DIVINE and that is a proper FACT, not opinion. I am not a fan of nuts, but this cake has them and i didn't even taste them. They seemed to be there more for texture than flavor and it worked really well.Overall, my feelings about this place is mixed. Everything about this place is alright, except their carrot cake. Definitely a place worth visiting at least once.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Staff was great. I like the design of the place- bigger than ours at home.
The staff was super sweet and inviting but the store smelled very unpleasant. Perhaps a sewage issue? It was strange becsuse the store itself looked very clean. The food wasn't the greatest and my plate wasn't visually appealing either. I was very disappointed to be honest. I've never ate at a McAlister's and left unsatisfied before!
