Excellent food for breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of what I ate but it was all delicious. I had fluffy pancakes The size of the plate along with two eggs prepared just as I expected and bacon. Their sweet tea is really good as well. Others in our group had the meatloaf which he said was excellent and was a generous portion, and chicken fried steak which was prepared just the right way with gravy on top. Also had mac & cheese which was tasty but it could’ve been a little cheesier.Certainly worth a stop to experience the food and enjoy watching the planes as a taxi in and fly out. Large windows overlook the tarmac so it’s easy to see all of the planes. Very relaxing with great service, and the prices were very reasonable.

Flew in memorial Day. Had a great breakfast. Line boy directed me in and placed a rug down as I got out of my little Taylorcraft. With that kind of service, I went ahead and purchased 8 gallon of fuel. That filled it up.Great stop for any reason. Have a great breakfast or lunch at the restaurant on the field.Bob Snider

Quality has taken a bad dive. Under cooked scrambled eggs, blackened pancakes, etc. won’t go back. Bob Evans or homemade from now on.

We live in Columbus and have eaten at Blackerby’s Hangar 5 lots of times. Have always been pleased. However, we went for breakfast recently with friends from Shelbyville who also have always enjoyed the Hangar and it was quite disappointing. Paper plates and plastic silverware - not sure why. I ordered the quiche because I had it for lunch previously and it was really good. Not this time! Was the thickness of a cookie and served with potatoes that were cold. I left still hungry and everyone else was disappointed with their meals also.

My wife and I had lunch there on a Saturday in January. The food was very good and didn't take long after we ordered. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, but the individual at the cash register not so much. It nice sitting by the large windows and the aircraft come in and out.

If you're in Columbus and looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot, this is a great spot! My kids love the pancakes and I love the Skyhawk breakfast. Fast and friendly service and good food!

Unique place with great food and drinks. They seemed a little short staffed but who isn't these days? The staff did well and we enjoyed watching the planes.

Overheard the manager (I think) being rude to a server and you could hear him yelling in the kitchen.. I feel bad for our server. The service was great though.

I went there for the 1st time, I loved it, the food was really good, and not too pricey. The wait fir your the food was a little long but it was worth the wait, for me. And you can see the airplane take off or landing.

The Hangar is always my favorite place to visit when I go to Columbus. The food is consistently great whether you're having breakfast or dinner. The service has always been first class. My personal favorite is the Maximum Payload Manhattan. It is top notch! If you are in the area, I recommend you stop by. Watching the planes come and go is a fun treat.
