Food was amazing! I had an amazing experience over all. Ingrid the chef and owner was very kind and I can tell how much she enjoys her work! Thank you so much for making my day!

Today was our first time attending Angottis for my husbands birthday and it was by far the best restaurant in Columbus! Upon arrival we were met at the door and escorted to our table. I was really nervous because we had our two children with us, one who is 2 and wild as they come but they made us feel extremely welcome and at ease. When the food arrived you could tell it was made to order as the steam rolled from the plates and the presentation was beautiful. None of that even touches on the taste. Holy moly. I don’t think there are even words to express how good every bite was. My husband is super picky and he even ate off my plate and that alone speaks volumes. Just as I thought it couldn’t get any better the owner/chef came out got my daughter(my son already headed outside with dad) and took her on a tour, got them both some goodies and allowed my daughter to make her and her brother an ice cream sundae. She also gave my daughter some of the most beautiful words of wisdom. After all that when we were leaving I met the owner/chef outside and stood and talked for a bit and I just fell in love with her as a person. I highly HIGHLY RECOMMENDED anyone in the area to check it out. You will be so happy that you did!

Ordered a take out meal for the 4 of us. I judge an Italian restaurant by their lasagna. I was not disappointed. . Everyone's meals were excellent also. Our new favorite Italian restaurant in Columbus!!!

This was our first time trying Angottis’s. The quality of the authentic homemade food was amazing. Lobster ravioli, lasagna , Alfredo tortellini…and so many other choices. There were appetizers and salads also. And the desserts… scrumptious! Eclair, Cannoli, brownies, massive double icing layered cupcakes, carrot cake - oh my goodness. Our server was so attentive and polite. The owner/chef was kind and personable and very grateful for people enjoying her food. Was a blessing to not have to cook this year!

Update: I was planning on giving this restaurant a second chance but after your response I don’t plan on going back. Your response makes it seem like my experience didn’t happen. But unfortunately that was my experience. You confirmed that the restaurant is understaffed; when understaffed employees are under more pressure and stress leaving more room for mistakes to happen. I am patient but no one tried to make it right after we notified the waitress and now with your response to my review leaves much to be desired.I was very excited about coming here after it was recommended on the community Facebook page by several people and seeing all the great reviews. So first of all you need a reservation. So we made a reservation for a Saturday evening. When we got there. We were seated and took about 10 mins before we were even asked what we wanted to drink (seems understaffed). Once we received our drinks. I started smelling something weird but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Then my husband whispered in my ear to smell the cups. So I did. They smelled disgusting. Like if they had been in dirty water with fish or something and then just rinsed and given to us. After that we didn’t feel comfortable eating there. So we let the waitress know we would be leaving. So we left and went to eat elsewhere.

We have lived in Columbus since 2014. We didn't even know this restaurant was in this area.We even live three-minutes from this restaurant.I got to know this place through Google search. We visited there today. It was amazing there was a restaurant in such a remote place. The two employees were really customer service friendly and nice. The taste of the food was really amazing. To top it off was the way they treated our kids, by the time we finished eating the main food, the main chef escorted our daughter into the kitchen and gave her gifts and let her create her own masterpiece (ice cream sundae) also toys and also the humorous sunglasses were great! She came back to us with a big smile with an ice cream sundae made by herself wearing a chef hat.My family couldn't stop laughing at something unexpected. We vowed to visit there at least once every two weeks. It is a restaurant that made unforgettable memories.

The ambiance is fantastic!! The decor has a lot of detail and attention. First vibes: extremely warm and inviting!! Starting out we ordered coke and it tasted flat and as if it was mixed with water. We asked for water and it came out tasting like chlorine! We ordered mozzarella sticks and they were phenomenal! The bread is good however one of the butters on the table looked as if someone had already dug in it, a turn off. When the salads came out I immediately noticed a hair in my youngest child's salad, once my middle child had already started eating thr salad, a hair was found. Everyone loved their entrées however I ordered the TH Stein and it only comes with 4 ravioli, this combined with the hair just really made for a horrible experience and wanting so much more. The carrots cake wasn't very good, chocolate mousse cake was too rich and the cannolis were just nasty. The server was extremely nice, we only spoke up about the coke in which she attempted to rectify. It is always an extremely uncomfortable experience to complain about anything so I never do. Maybe it was just an off night but I spent 200 dollars with tip and I just hate leaving feeling like I wasted money. Just wanted to give a complete honest review for anyone bc that is what I always appreciate.

I wasn't sure what to expect as I had heard very little about this establishment. This is reservation only and for a very good reason. They do not buy from a restaurant supplier, she only buys what she plans to use in the next couple of days. We had a very nice meal in a very quiet, comfortable dining room. We were so pleased that we are going back tonight for a very nice Valentine's dinner. I'm sure our prime rib, shrimp cocktail, etc. will be delicious.

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time for a midweek date. We were not disappointed! We loved the homemade croutons (still warm) on the salad, the cheese ravioli, and the tiramasu. Top notch service, atomosphere and reasonable prices!Thank you, Angottis, for making our date night special! We will definitely come back!

We visited here a few Weeks ago and it was definitely a hit with all 4 of us. We ranged in age from 9 to 66 and each of us enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The decor is very nice you can tell that they’ve taken a lot of pride in decorating it not only with the nostalgic photos and colors that remind you of a classy Italian restaurant but for the holiday season as well.We went right after they opened for the evening and it was just ramping up so it wasn’t crowded and was very quiet. I thought other reviews had mentioned bread but we didn’t receive any not sure if that was missed or they actually don’t do that. We did order mozzarella sticks and they were very good. The menu is not large but offers a nice variety of pastas, a steak option and a couple kids choices as well. There was one menu per table,I would suggest perhaps putting two on the tables so groups more than 2 don’t have to wait turns, but we knew what we wanted with the exception of our littlest diner who chose chicken strips and fries. We had Alfredo, Chicken parm and the Cheese Ravioli with cream sauce, mushrooms, spinach and sundried tomatoes (J.T Stein?) They were all delicious and we had leftovers to take home. While the meals were delicious without it I would still suggest that they offer fresh grated parm for the meals as that adds another special touch. The salads were very good, I know several reviews have mentioned the croutons and those are very good…freshly made and still warm.We also ordered desserts; tiramisu, chocolate cake and carrot cake. All were delicious and a great finishing touch. We felt that the price was reasonable for 4 of us with adult beverage, appetizer, entrees and desserts…still under $105.00. The service was good and the food was delicious. We will definitely visit again.
