If you're traveling across the country and find yourself south of Indianapolis, then stay in Columbus IN and eat (and drink) at 4th St. Bar & Grill. It's a good restaurant - much more than a grill - with a kitchen that prepares great pub food from scratch. Travis behind the bar knows just how dry, and cold, to make a Martini. We're usually wary of ordering mixed drinks on the road, but 4th St. delivers good cocktails. The live music was below the par of the food and drink, but if you stay in the front of the place, you'll minimize that volume. But you'll miss the great energy of this local's place if you don't sit in back. Eat here. You'll like it.
Awesome burger. Yummy hand cut fries. Service was super and quick considering the times. We sat in the patio. Very cute spot to overlook the town and passing traffic. I would return.
We stopped on our way out of town to grab a quick drink. Off the beaten path and came to this quaint little town, and this lovely little bar and restaurant. The service was great and the cocktails were delicious
We visited 4th street bar & grill on a Friday night and it was super crowded. We tried to call and make a reservation but unfortunately reservations were closed. Thankfully we walked in and wait time was about 5-10 mins.Their menu offers some vegetarian options like vegetarian black bean burger, Greek wrap, and tropical bruschetta flatbread. We really liked the burger and flatbread.
The flat bread was fantastic. Bourbon salmon salad was amazing! Shoe string sweet potato fries are good. Great service and nice space. Lots of delish options!
Great service and great food! My guy ordered fish and he said it was good. I had the Reuben and it may be the best one I've ever had. The meat was tender and no weird grisly chewy bites. It was high quality. Next time I want to try the tenderloin. See you soon 4th Street
My wife and I received a friendly greeting upon walking in the door by Stacy, the bartender. We sat at the bar (our preferred place to sit). Stacy not only provided great service and excellent cocktails, but she was also engaging when time allowed her to be. We both ordered Sweet chili glazed salmon that was delicious. The next time we have the opportunity to travel through Columbus, IN, we make the 4th Street Bar and Grill our dining destination.
Food and drinks are delicious. Stacy and the chef did a great job. The fried pickles are delicious and I also had the Rueben sandwich with fresh French fries! My new favorite place while I’m here in Columbus. Drinks are done right!! I will definitely be back!!
4th Street has wonderful staff, cocktails, and food (including some vegan options, which I really appreciate!).My only complaint is that due to the shotgun style layout of the building, if you don't get a good seat for live music/karaoke nights, it can be pretty hard to see and hear the entertainment- so be sure to show up early if that's important to you!
I haven't worked at 4th. St. in 23 years. My son took me to lunch last week .Loved everything Curt and Kelly have done to it.Service, and food was great.
