Blue lives matter flag outside of establishment.Took no precautions during peak Covid pre-vaccine.I think you can put 2 and 2 together as to what kind of place this is and who isn’t welcome here.

Looking forward to The GOAT reopening. Love the atmosphere and hospitality of the staff. Great place to have dinner, drinks and fun!Nice addition to the area.

We noticed this place was hopping so we decided to check it out. Disappointed to see not a single person was wearing a mask. Not bartenders, not guests, NO ONE but me and my fiancé. The inside was so packed you had to squeeze through people stacked shoulder to shoulder. It was so humid and disgusting inside from all the sweat and people yelling. We decided to leave without getting drinks or using the bathroom. I’m surprised the police didn’t shut the place down.

This place rocks. In the height of COVID when all of the libs wanted to take precautions to keep 'all of their loved ones from getting sick and dying', the GOAT was at FULL CAPACITY. Not only that, the restaurant owners didn't care at all about wearing masks! I went from being yelled at all day in public for not wearing a chin daiper, to walking into a restaurant that embraced me for it. I grew up in New York, and the restaurant staff made me feel right at home. They carry themselves with a 'get it yourself and shut up' type of vibe. I don't need anyone apologizing for giving me my food cold or even on time. I mean heck, most of the time I didn't even eat it anyway, because it tasted like it had already been regurgitated. But I think we all know that's not the real reason I came to the GOAT. I come for the women. The one thing this restaurant and I have in common, is that we both don't have any standards. This was the only restaurant to stay open long enough for there to even be a chance that I could get to go home with someone. Half of the time though, we just ended up hooking up in the parking lot, or in the neighborhood, since I still live with my parents. I am very sad to see this place go.

To everyone writing a review simply based on masks, grow up. You make a decision for you, and they do it for them. Neat spot and glad they allow people to exercise individual freedoms.

OK for a neighborhood bar, although bar selection is limited. Also, if you’re not vaccinated, beware. Our waiter was not wearing a mask. Given that, we probably won’t return until the Covid risk has passed.

Giving this 4 stars since this place is new, but they still have some kinks to iron out so I would have given less. Definitely nice atmosphere and the hush puppies were really good! However I think the food is a little bit over priced. $6 for 5 small hush puppies and $4 for a side of chips is a little steep. Also the tacos were only okay. I ordered the Buffalo chicken but it was literally chicken and cheese. They could improve on their food and have more toppings/sides for the price and I would try again.

Pretty cool atmosphere inside and out. Food was decent with an average beer selection.

I ordered the lobster roll and got very sick afterwards - I think I had food poisoning from the lobster roll.Frustrating that I could not contact the management by phone to discuss this situation. Need to have a phone number to call.
