I'm a big fan of Steak 'n Shake and this location is a good one. The food comes out quick and is piping hot. I've probably been here a dozen times and I have no complaints.
Got burger, fries and 3 shakes. The shakes were disgusting. They all tasted bad like they were made with sour milk. I called the restaurant and told the lady about the bad tasting shakes. She said sorry, laughed, and then hung up on me. Would give zero stars if possible. Waste of money and could not eat those expensive shakes. 3 of us felt sick after. Save your money and your stomach. Won't be back!
The milkshakes are very tasty, the burgers are delicious, especially the western BBQ. Very helpful and polite staff, I would definitely return to this place.
We were helped by Chris via the drive thru on Saturday night at this location, 5 star customer service. He was polite, thoughtful, caring, and kind. If I could have 100 people like Chris working on my team, I’d know my customers would always be treated with respect and their concerns handle with care. Great job Chris, I hope someone in management sees this and gives you a raise!
The food here is pretty decent, but I am absolutely livid with the customer service. I read on their website that the store closes at midnight, but after waiting in a very long drive-thru line, they refused us service at 11:00! They served the person two cars in front of us, and closed immediately after that. Absolutely horrible customer service!!! I work in food service myself, but when I have a line, I am obligated to serve every customer in the line, even if I’m trying to close! As long as my register is activated I have to serve customers. This establishment should take my example!!!
I love this Steak ‘n Shake! The staff is always very nice and courteous, and our orders have never been wrong. The only reason why I am docking a star is because the wait times can be a bit excessive, though it’s not an issue every time.
The GM knew less about customer service than a rock. I ordered 2 identical sandwiches and requested the bacon from one be put on the other. (No bacon on one, double bacon on the other). Simple request but she said it would throw off her inventory and complained to me about the rising costs of meat. I don't care. I just spent $52 on Steakburgers and Milkshakes, please move the bacon onto one burger as I'm paying for bacon on both. I became irate and she asked if I'd rather have my order to go. I said I'd rather just have a refund, but according to her, they don't do that either. So I was trapped to endure her unpleasant face for 30 minutes. Oh yeah, then my milkshakes were conveniently "not ready" and when I complained, they magically appeared out of the cooler as staff stood around snacking behind the counter. With service like this, I understand why SteaknShakes are closing. If my 7yo wasn't begging for a Birthday Cake Milkshake for his birthday, I wouldn't spend another penny. I don't care how good the milkshakes are. And that is the biggest crime of all. America will lose out on the best milkshakes.
So I really like the new set up for the restaurant. You go to a keyas and place your order get your drinks and pick a seat. You don't have a server anymore it makes it faster. The one thing is now people are out of a job. I will say my food came out very hot and very delicious.
I made an order for car hop while in the parking lane for car hop. After waiting 20 mins I decided to go inside to see what was taking so long. I was then accosted by the manager saying "no one was in the car hop space so we just left it sitting here".Not sure how that works since I was in the correct space from the moment I made the order.Overall sad place... Don't go
I sat through the drive through for 15min, didn't complain at all, asked for extra BBQ sauce. Had a feeling checked my food and I was missing fries. No big deal, went up to the counter and Megan was not having a good day. Let's just say as a manager myself I can't belive she made the comments she made. They are fries, i didnt yell i just asked for my bbq sauce and fries I paid for. Get some manners sister or here take some advise, if you can't handle stress it's probably time for you to find another career because clearly it's to mich of a stressful environment for you.
