Alaska tastes like Heinz ketchup, really good pineapple Marg though! Tacos were okay. Kinda messy but I won't knock them for that because I appreciate overstuffed tacos
We enjoyed our dinner at Social Cantina and will definitely be back. The tacos were excellent as was the guacamole. My wife was a bit disappointed in her burrito bowl. I'm not big on tequila, but this place is, so I had a coconut margherita and enjoyed it. They also have a good beer list for a Mexican restaurant
Love the location and vibe. Ordered some tacos and chips and guac. For the chips, they brought a gigantic tray of them. No joke! Tacos were good, but I've had better. A bit on the bland side. Overall would come back and try some of the other things on the menu.
First visit and pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste. The Social Nachos and Despacito bowl...freshly made and delicious! Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is nice for birthday gatherings or just to enjoy adult drinks. Seating may not be immediate on weekends. Give this place a try.
Great atmosphere, great service.. the bacon wrapped jalapeno appetizers were delicious, we were the tacos. Would definitely come back.
We enjoyed our lunch here, not too crowded and our server was great. We ordered the suggested chips and salsa flight and really enjoyed! We also got the burrito bowl served with extra queso, highly recommend! We will be back!
Food was alright, not anything amazing, but acceptable. Our server was nice and friendly and the venue was well decorated. Overall a decent place to visit every now and then.
My first time here I am from Nashville Tennessee and my waitress Claire was great told me all the good stuff I love this stuffed avocado! I always love presentation and this looks beautiful I’ll be back thank you Claire
Right off the Monon across from the Sun King in Carmel, we had heard good things about this place and wanted to try it out. Parking is available along the narrow streets on either side of the Monon as well as neighborhood blocks. The restaurant seemed bigger than we anticipated as there is an L-shaped dining area in addition to a bar in the main room as well as an additional room for dining to the south of the room. We were fortunate to arrive just before 6:00 on a Saturday as we did as despite the amount of space and tables, the place filled up quickly with a good line of folks waiting after we got in.We first ordered their Chips & 2 Salsas ($6.50). The chips were seasoned and plenty served on a baking tray. We chose their red and green salsas as we had heard the other 2 options were strongly spicy. The red had a mild kick to it and was a bit smoky. My wife liked the verde. We each tried the Mushroom Taco ($4.50) and the Avocado Taco ($4.75). I also ordered a Mushroom Tamale ($2.50). The Mushroom Tamale was a decent size and the mushroom filling was tasty. It didn't come with a sauce though, so it seemed a tad dry to eat overall, but I still liked it and would get it again. The Mushroom Taco was OK, but reminded me of a basic breaded mushroom appetizer on its taste. The Avocado Taco was fantastic as a blend of flavors. I would definitely order it again. When the weather warms up, folks will enjoy eating at the outdoor tables they have set up to the north of their building to people watch the Monon. Probably not the best tasting food or value compared to other options, but I would consider returning again.
Unfortunately, we were very underwhelmed with our experience. The chips/salsa/queso sharable was WAY too big for two people. They should offer a half order. And the tacos were without flavor. It's a great location and likely a place we'll stop by for an outdoor beverage when warmer outside but unlikely we'll return to dine.
