Pizzology in Carmel is a good hang out place that is near me so we dine there. I recommend it especially the mussels! A pound is served with 2 breadsticks and it’s very delicious. Their gelato is also good but the Amaretto flavor is the best! It’s not called pizzology for nothing… order the Bama! Best pizza ever!

This place has great food and awesome staff, but unfortunately, they are closed during lunch now (and only open from 4pm-9pm Monday through Saturday).I'm really surprised Pizzology can't get Google to update the business hours. I got fooled a time or two, which admittedly put a sour taste in my mouth, but then found out the hours keep getting updated then changed back for some reason.
I had not been to Pizzology since pre pandemic and had the opportunity to last evening. My husband had the Lombardy pizza which he enjoyed very much. He has always commented that this is the way he preferred crusts prepared as it reminds him of his years spent in Italy. I had the Spicy Capellini Pomodoro with the suggested added sausage and goat cheese. It was fantastic! Possibly the best pasta I have had at a restaurant. Our server Sarah made great suggestions and was very personable and attentive. So glad we stopped back in and will be back soon!
I placed a group order for a business meeting. I placed the order over the phone and even though there were quite a few orders, the food was ready in a timely manner. Everyone thought the food tasted fabulous. When I forgot to get my receipt, Carlee was quick to assist me! Thanks so much for a great meal and for wonderful customer service.
Most everything we tried was good, the white pizza was heavy and greasy, the crust was soggy. Service was OK and it was pretty expensive for what we got. We'll give them another try, but maybe just one more...
First off…this is the best restaurant in Carmel….however. Closing at 9pm on a Saturday when you have a 3 way liquor license…not sure who owns or manages this place, but they’re a bad steward of their business. Again…absolute best food in Carmel, but 4-9? Closed on Sunday’s? I’m sick of the “Covid excuses” and we can’t find labor…as a restaurant owner, I know as well as anyone how hard it is out there. But I actually work in my restaurant. Then on the rare occasion I can go out at 845 on a Saturday and have to listen to my favorite restaurant respond with “but we close in 15-minutes” when I call . Give me a break. We’re in a new era of restaurants discouraging patronage. If you don’t want to work nights and weekends…you’re in the wrong industry.
Decent pizza, but took FOREVER to get my food. I saw so many people come and go while I waited. Ordered at 5:41 and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Walked out with food at 6:39. I think they forgot to enter my order. The least they could have done was offer a drink while I sat there with my kids, or have a manager come out and offer an apology. $62 plus a 20% prepaid tip...Too many great restaurants in Carmel and Fishers to give thus joint a second try.
Great pizza! Service was good. Busy on a Saturday night, so plan ahead, but worth the wait.
Pizzology and the staff are fantastic. We enjoy Friday nights on a regular basis. The wood fired pizza is always a favorite. We love this local place it is a great place to make new friends.
