Unfortunately, the experiences I keep having at this location are negative. Store is always dirty and staff is not friendly. Overall, I have never had a pleasant experience here. What I experienced today is why I’m writing this review. I came in after ordering online. It said my food was ready for me to pick up, but I still had to wait 10 minutes. While I was waiting for my food, the man packaging up the orders was extremely unfriendly. He was cussing under his breath and aggressively packaging up the food. He ended up just crumbling up my order and threw it to the side. And I mean… threw it.After all of that, my food wasn’t even good. I got the Baja Bowl, which is one of the warm bowls. When I got it, my rice and quinoa was hard and my chicken was freezing. Definitely not fresh. I paid almost $12 for something I couldn’t eat. And because I was on my break, I didn’t have time to get it fixed.(Picture: the state of the bag and receipt of my order.)

Always very friendly staff and quick service. This Panera location is the best in the Indy area.

Didn't have my online order ready on time. Nobody notified me there was a problem with it. What's the point of asking my phone number at checkout then? I've had other panera locations call when there was a problem. Manager was not apologetic and said it was my fault for not complaining earlier. Wow.

The Panera Bread in Carmel IN on Greyhound Pass needs some serious attention from its corporate headquarters. The restaurant is filthy. Door handles are black with grime, tables dirty, trash cans over flowing and floor around the tea dispenser is so sticky your shoes get stuck! The bathroom was awful! Paper towel roll sitting on the sink and trash can over flowing. On Sunday May 15th the store was completely out of onions and nearly half of their salad dressings. They also were out of parmesan cheese and most bakery items. It was only 2:30 in the afternoon. The last several times I have visited this location the experience has declined each time. The quality of the food and service as well as cleanliness and overall management at this location is simply not good at all. Very disappointing.

Fantastic, tried the new pizzas for the first were great. I got just cheese to try first time. The new Charged Lemonade a Must Must Must. The Strawberry lemonade with mint very good!

I'm not really sure what to say other than very disappointed and I will never go back to this location again.I've been that many Panera's and this one is the worst I have ever been to. When it first opened it was up to franchise standards, now it feels more like a high school cafeteria. Very filthy, tables are not cleaned, the floors have food all over them.I approached the cashier about the cleanliness of the restaurant and she said oh sorry about that, we will get someone out there to clean it right away; several minutes later I saw her chit-chatting with her friends in the dining room, and nothing was being done, she was chatting with her friends for at least 10 to 15 minutes. We had to sit at a dirty table to eat. We were there for about 35 minutes after I first approached the cashier, nobody ever came out to clean anything. I then spoke to the manager who was apologetic but did not appear to be very concerned with the appearance of the restaurant or my disappointed. I think a lot of this has to do with the age of the employees and the clientele, all of which are either teenagers or in their early twenties, including the manager.I find it very disappointing to spend over $50 for a couple sandwiches and two sides and have to eat at a restaurant that is more like a high school cafeteria. This review isn't about the food of Panera rather than the location itself. The food that came out is the same as any other Panera restaurant which to me is just another mediocre sandwich shop with some better than average soups and macaroni and cheese.

Stopped by today after subscribing to the unlimited sip program to find that their coffee maker was broken and they had no coffee. Background music was too loud to work in today, as well. Overall, I am a little disappointed in my experience at this location.

This a great stop-off location with plenty of parking, albeit a bit far from the door often, and great service. It's a little dated on the interior but bright. This is a Cane Sugar Syrup out location.

Had coffee and roll. The restaurant was dirty and in disrepair. Floors and walls need work. Bathroom is bad….. roll was not good. Will not be back. Standards have dropped.

Broccoli Cheddar piping hot and delicious. Parents loved it too and had great sandwiches.Dined in and the restaurantwas clean. Good service. I will say the employees didn't wear masks, which was a little disconcerting.
