This place is low class and poor quality. One of the hot buffets was not even warm. The soup was cold. The teriyaki chicken was cold. The dumplings were cold. The General Tsos' was hot but the meat had a funny taste-either too much fish sauce or slightly spoiled? I only grabbed one plate of food and couldn't finish because it really was not good. This just isn't worth the $12+ price for lunch. Not at all. I'll never go back. For the price I would rather give my money to panda express and get safe hot and tasty Americanized chinese food. (Until today, I have not been to this restaurant in over 5 years. it was just as bad then.)
After arriving in town and getting our hotel in Carmel, IN.We decide to go find a place to eat. We wanted Chinese food.We found this place.Everything was cold, our fault really for arriveing to late.And they weren't going to make anymore food for the night.I'm sure it probably is a good place to eat!But for me it was all cold!
Man, we've been going here for about 15 yrs. But the last couple years it's just worse every time we go. It's pretty run down on the inside and doesn't even seem clean anymore. Some of the food is obviously not fresh and some of it tastes stale. I think if they just cleaned the place up and fixed the things that are broken and ugly, it would really help. We went for what was probably the last time, in January. I want to support the local businesses but I just can't go back here the way it is right now.
Ordered day before on Uber Eats and next day 30 min before this was to be delivered order cancelled. Now I am out a lunch because of this. Not happy and will never eat here. Too bad since I was going to give them a try. Lost my business due to this.
I've been here the past few weekends and I can say it's the best Chinese food around! I mean come on, It's a Chinese buffet !! All you can eat, the food is fresh and the employees don't bother you! It's amazing, I will be coming back here!!
Decent buffet, the food they do have is good, not the largest variety, but not bad either. Pretty good value for the money especially if you have kids.
Great food. Sweet and sour chicken always makes my day when I stop by here. Great ambience and is the only place in town that supports the local quiz bowl team.
Lotta chinese restaurants will give u the runs but here the Food is amazing and never hurts my stomach and its affordable and the people are so nice its family owned I remember when I would come when I was younger and the owners had just had a baby boy and came back recently and the baby boy was all grown up and helped me at the cash register all by himself. Love this place I hope it never closes ?
This places sucked on many many levels service, quality, appearance, cleanliness. Food was not fresh rice had a stale tastes.. Vegetables were soggy and meat was dry. The place was not enjoyable to sit in. They even had RED SOLO CUPS. So ghetto in Carmel... really. I wish I could at least say they were nice and humble but I'm sorry they just looked like they didn't care. Go to McDonald's instead trust me. ?
The buffet has gone down hill. They restock the food after complaining, staff is rude, place is dirty, bathroom (men's) is totally disgusting ; I saw bugs flying and it smells etrocious. Take-out is no better. Go to China Express down the street. I will be calling the health dept. Had horrible cramps just hours after eating there... food was not up to temperature. Prices are way to high for the sub-par quality. Disappointing to say the least.
