I’m a fan of MCL. I’m taking one star off because my husband said his roast beef was really tough and didn’t have a lot of flavor.
Large takeout order for 10 adults was ready when we arrived, and everyone's order was together and numbered as requested. Food was still hot and delicious.
We have dined here several times. It is cafeteria style so you get to pick your preferred entree and sides. There are also salads, desserts, breads, etc. Fountain drinks are available with free refills including very good iced tea. There are servers throughout the dining area making sure you have what you need. They will also provide a to go cup of your beverage when you are ready to go. The grandkids love this place! Kids meal are free M-W and there is a senior discount every day from 2-5. Coupons are sometimes available in the mail.
Staff was nice, it was clean ,I liked the sweet tea, but I didnt like anything else. Food was over cooked, fish was not flakey but soft and mushy. I would never go there again...
The food was ok. One gentleman acted as if it was a bother to him to come to make a salad, then when asked what a food item was he had to look at the board behind him. You would think one would know the available food. Our server was good, friendly, and helpful.
It's a typical cafeteria style restaurant. Food is decent. Portions are large. Very pleasant staff. My grandmother loved this place, so we went with her.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food, especially boasted chicken, was quite tasty. Sorry to hear that the iced tea will be changing soon. :(Decor is very worn and tired, making the atmosphere a downer.
Grilled Prime Rib with sautéed mushrooms and Mashed potatoes with dark gravy it was Wonderful . Wife had Chicken and Noodles with New Potatoes simmered in butter she loved it .Exquisite.
I like that they have more choices on their buffet. Much more than the other 2 MCLs that I've visited. The food was tasty and you could tell it was homemade. Large portions
Good home style food. Good chocolate cake. Great tea.
