Every time that I order from this McAlister’s they mess something up in my order. I have been ordering from them for years now, and within the last 6 months nearly ever order has had something wrong. They always forget to add the tortilla chips with the tortilla soup. Often times I’ll order a salad and end up with a potato! You can completely forget getting your side of chips with your meal because they’ll forget that too! Thankful that Uber Eats reimburses their mistakes..
It never fails, but McAlister’s can never get an order right. My fiancé and I are done ordering McAlister’s in general. Everytime we have ordered, our order is wrong. For example, we ordered a spud max with jalapeños. No jalapeños. I ordered the grilled cheese with no tomato’s add bacon, an up charge. No bacon and there’s tomato. I’m not sure what I was expecting as this was the 4th time our order was wrong.
Cashier was super rude, kept rushing us while we ordered even though there wasn't a big line, kept asking anything else rudely and interrupting me, when we were done ordering just gestured for me to to insert my card and when I did he reached over and hit the tip button at 5% without even asking me! When I asked him why did he push the tip button he just gestured with his hand for me to move aside! Awful employee, would be fired immediately if worked at a decent place.
This location is going downhill. I did the pick 2 for carry out tonight and this is what the half chicken caesar wrap looked like. The most pitiful looking wrap I've ever seen. Not to mention they forgot the pickle (again like always) which really sucks when you're pregnant and have a craving. If you're going to ask on the online order if you want a pickle then the employees should make sure to read the order! ?
I'm an Iced Tea drinker so right off the bat, they get some latitude from me. If we're rating off of Tea alone, I'm all in with a 5 star rating! Some of the best in the business! Unfortunately, their food drags them down. Best I can say about the food is that it's consistently..... average! I can't honestly say that I've ever had a memorable meal there. The Tea on the other hand.... ?
The food Is really good and the sweet tea is awesome. The manager doesn't seem too bad. HOWEVER I would like to know what Danny's deal is. (Skinny,short and ignorant kit at the front desk) How can someone be so rude and unwelcoming but still have a job that requires you to deal with people everyday? It's a great restaurant but he makes every visit miserable. When he takes orders he's just awful with people. I understand he'll probably be a virgin for the rest of his life but stop rushing people when they order. Can't wait till someone puts him in his place. I apologize If I'm being rude but my gosh i am tired of seeing him treat people like trash.
Iced tea was cloudy and didn't taste fresh. Complained to management and was told...that is just the way the tea is lately. Been drinking their tea for years but not anymore.
I understand that a half sandwich isnt suppose to be big but all the bread together waasnt even a full slice. Smallest half sandwich i have ever recieved. Do better
Food is always good. Ordered food last evening and needless to say not impressed with service at all.I purchased a tea when I walked in and had told the gentleman I had a to go order when I did so. I spilled some tea as i was filling my cup and asked for napkins to clean up my mess at which point the manager spoke to me and told me they would get it. I wanted to clean up my mess, as I did it. It never got wiped up while I was in there.Meanwhile I must have interrupted their conversation about how the owner watches them on camera when they he/she isn’t there. Once that conversation ended, I am standing at the carryout counter, that same manager and another employee (pretty sure it was the employee that had just rang me up for my tea that i told i had a to go order) walked past to go into the kitchen, came back out looked right at me and went back to the other end.I then watched that same employee go back into the kitchen and ignore me again to take the empty Silverware holders he had emptied.I could see my order sitting behind the counter. Not wanting to step back there and grab it myself as, I had already paid online, I waited.Meanwhile another customer walked up as the employee came out of the kitchen. The gentleman was immediately greeted and asked the name on his order as I stood there still waiting.He was told his order wasn't ready yet and the employee started to walk off still not addressing me. The manager than came down carrying the other gentleman's order At this point, I said can someone please hand me my order?I completely understand if they were busy, it can get hectic, but ignoring someone on multiple occasions is not okay.Probably should watch conversations manager and employees are having in front of customers too. Owners watch employees on camera because they invest big amounts of money into their businesses and can't trust managers and employees not to take advantage of them or not acting professionally when they aren't there.I know it's hard to get employees right now, but was really disappointed in my experience last evening and wanted to make sure the OWNER knew about what was going on.
We love this deli. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I love seeing everyone work so well as a team making delicious food. We come here often, and we are never disappointed. Keep up the good work!
