Pleasant staff and a great sandwitch made my way lol great for only being open for 10 days!
Great cheese steaks. I'm glad I found this place. I wish there was one closer to where I live.
When our daughter and her family came home for a visit, they suggested we have lunch here since they offered the gluten-free items our granddaughter requires. It was a busy lunchtime but we were able to move through the ordering process fairly quickly. The on-site seating is very limited, and I suppose most people just stop in here for a quick carry-out meal. The menu is limited to only a few quickly prepared items, but was adequate for this occasion. Considering the limited menu selections and bare minimum seating and comfort level, I thought the prices were on the high side for overall dining experience.
Absolutely terrible service once again. The last time I ordered I came in an hour after to pick it up the 3 subs, asked about my sub 3 times and spent 45 minutes waiting for it only to find out they had never even started it. I told them to just refund my money because my lunch was only 30 minutes and I didn't have any longer to wait. Once i got back to work i realized the other 2 subs in the bag were completely wrong and nothing that anyone ordered It took 3 months for us to try it again being today. I ordered and waited an hour and a half to come pick it up to make sure it was done and get here for one of 3 done and in the bag and now find my self again waiting (20 minutes and they're still not finished) for my other 2 subs to be finished, there were 3 people here when I walked in. Let me mention also we informed Tommy the manager before these 2 listed incidents about how terrible our service had been the last couple times and we agreed to try it one more time because he said he would make sure it wasn't an issue again. Obviously the only 2 times we've ordered since talking to Tommy were even worse. At this were over this establishment and I will stick to getting Jimmy johns and subway. Both are much faster and they don't mess my order up everytime.
ABSOLUTE WORST location around. EVERY single time I place an order online they don't even start to make my food until I arrive and complain, then I am met with attitudes, food is normally wrong or missing something. Last time I left a review the manager contacted me asking for me to give another chance and even offered free food. I declined the free food offer but yet still gave another chance. I placed an online order. The order showed to be ready at 11:57am. I arrived at 12:20pm and they acted though they had no record of the order. I gave the order number and they said they would make it right away. After watching them serve all the walk ups for another 20 minutes I asked for a refund. They hurried up to make my order then. Walked out at 12:50 only to go back to work (late from lunch break) to find order was wrong once again! Terrible terrible service. I will go anywhere for lunch but here from now on. Cheers!
Today was the second time in recent months that I have ordered a Club Sub and there was no bacon on it. I usually don't have any issues with other subs except this one. The person putting the toppings on is obviously completely forgetting about it or something in the procedures is lacking.
Whoever has been making my food I am so appreciative. I've been going thru a lot. Grief, illness, and not eating well. When I started ordering from this store my order has been on point, fast, and delicious. Good food just makes you feel better. Thanks so much. I tried to call the store but I didn't get an answer. You can tell the difference between someone throwing your food together and someone putting a little love in it.
Knowingly served bad lettuce to customers and apologized when confronted saying they knew it was bad and said they had not got a delivery for fresh lettuce yet. This is unacceptable. Simply don't serve the lettuce at all. While I was there another customer had an issue with it and then was confusing about his order but the employees had zero patience dealing with this man that was already frustrated and he began yelling which in turn several employees called him some names and yelled curse words at the customer as he stormed out. This prompted a little girl and her father to abruptly end their meal and leave also. Needless to say I did not get lettuce on my sandwich either but what I did get did not taste fresh at all. I hope this location can turn things around as it used to be good. I also understand the pandemic has made it really hard on shops like this to serve properly. The employees seemed already very depressed before the incident and I hope everyone bounces back and learns from the experience.
Subs are typically good however they try to serve you BROWN lettuce. Staff is RUDE, and unprofessional! Today was the LAST time I will be frequenting this place. Walked out today (11/16/2021)
Staff at this location are ALL garbage! Went to order 3 sandwiches at 2:30pm today (post rush). Was 2nd person in line and immediately felt a bad vibe. The 3 people behind the counter were unfriendly and pissed about something and bickering with each other. Had to repeat myself 5 times with respect to what I did not want on my subs. Lettuce was BROWN. All of it because I watched them put a handful of the rotten lettuce on the guys sandwich before me and the whole container was bad. The “female” who I think was the “manager” stepped in after I said, “For the 5th time…..”. She immediately grabbed my 1 st sub, hastily wrapped it up and said “You’re getting it this way!” (Keep in mind I wasn’t yelling at them, and kept my same tone and cool the entire time.) I told her “Nope!” And walked out sticking them with the subs. I would be infuriated if I was the franchise owner to have trash like these people drive loyal customers away. Check out Yelp and Google Reviews and see the similar experiences like I had today. I’m not the only one spreading the word about this place, just the most recent one. Aside from the (I can care less about quality BROWN lettuce). Food is typically good with this chain, THE STAFF IS NOT! There is a Subway, and 2 Jimmy John’s right around the corner from this particular establishment. Frequent/support those places! This particular franchise in Carmel is a JOKE and doesn’t deserve your hard earned money. Save yourself some aggravation and do yourself a favor by not wasting your time here.
