We hired Jacquie's catering for our wedding and WOW! We were so impressed every step of the way. When we went for our tasting, we were seriously blown away at how good the food was. Our guests felt the same way, because at the wedding and after they all kept talking about how good the food was. It was seriously so good. They were communicative about our entree options, and helped us choose the best ones for entrees, sides, hors d'oeuvres, and everything. They did our napkins, the dinnerware, everything. The servers/staff/runners were awesome and our day was perfect. The food was AMAZING, they took care of everything. I am SO glad we went with Jacquie's.
Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering (JGC) review: JGC deserves 5 stars for food quality and 1 stars for service (the wedding day event management and pre-event management with Alisa Kinsel). Many wedding guests complimented the taste of the food, and pricing is reasonable for weddings, but unfortunately, the terrible service and management outweigh these strengths! Despite overcommunication with Alisa about vegetarian and kids meals, this information was not transferred to day-of staff, and dinner was delayed at the wedding while the bride and day-of planning coordinator worked to recreate this information. Less than 30 minutes later, the young event manager carelessly moved the three-layer wedding cake without disassembling it, knocking the top layer to the ground while guests watched it smash on the floor. While mistakes happen, how it was handled was bewildering: The day-of coordinator informed the bride and groom about the accident. As she was walking away from the head table, the event coordinator ran up to the couple and said, “That lady doesn’t like me! And she was rushing me, and that’s why the cake fell!” and expounded upon his blame while he continued to discharge his feelings, never once expressing remorse for the mistake. Upon the bride’s follow-up compliant, Alisa did compensate as requested. However, at the end of it all, I regret hiring Jacquie’s Catering and the headache of working with all Jacquie’s staff!
I would think twice about returning to this restaurant during busy times as they were clearly understaffed for the Saturday morning. Outdoor seating was nice but we waited 10 minutes for the server to stop by our table. Food was excellent and that's their strongest selling point. Kind of irked that they wouldn't discount the farmhouse breakfast as my daughter asked for no meat/bacon. So $13.50 for 2 eggs, toast, potatoes & a small cup of fruit. Wow.
I had the fried egg sandwich with over medium eggs with ham and it was so good! I drive past quite alot and decided to stop to see what they had on the menu. It was a good decision. They are cozy and have both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were very courteous and friendly. I can't wait to go back..unfortunately they were closed for the holiday..my taste buds were set too! Anyway, I highly recommend Jacquies!
Nice place to have breakfast. The coffee was excellent. Strong but smooth. Thought the food was a little expensive for what was offered. I had the potato skillet and it was ok but was not wild about the chilli. Although it was filling i thought the portion size was a little small and there could have been a greater variety of flavours.
The food was great. The service (even with being understaffed) was good too! Great place for breakfast!
Great brunch and lunch place serving an assortment of breakfast food, salads, and other good old eating. Parking is limited and it fills up for lunch to capacity during the week. Service was quick and efficient, consider sitting at the bar when the tables are crowded. Got an omelet and greatly enjoyed it. Specials rotate day over day.
Leah was a fantastic server and great with our kids. The food was perfect which is harder to do with our family of 6 and not a single complaint from the 4 kids. Delicious. Thank you.
Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering is delicious! We used Jacquie’s for our wedding catering and desserts and everything was amazing. From taste to service, I wouldn’t have gone any other way. The food was delicious, desserts adorable, and staff amazing! Use Jacquie’s for all of your catering needs!
Jacquies was absolutely one of the best choices we made for our wedding! The food was fantastic and the staff did an incredible job before, during and after the wedding. We worked with Jacquie when having to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and she was more than accommodating. Not to mention her warm & welcoming personality was easy to work with! The unanticipated rain definitely threw a curveball, but the staff was able to adjust and not skip a beat! We still get compliments on the wonderful food they provided for the wedding, to the point where even some of our most *foodie* Chicago friends cant stop raving about how good all the hors d’oeuvres and dinner were (specifically the salmon). Would highly recommend stopping into their café in Zionsville & using them to cater your next event… I promise you won’t be let down. We are looking forward to dining with them in the very near future
