Awesome as always! Needed to order a few quarts for a special occasion. Everyone was super helpful! They kept them frozen and waiting while we enjoyed some ice cream on location before getting back on the road!

Just had the worst excuse for chocolate chip ice cream that I’ve ever had. THREE little pieces of chocolate in the entire cone. Basically, 99.9% vanilla.**Update**I just did a return visit to Handel’s. After my review a couple of weeks ago; the owner reached out to me to apologize and ask me to try them again- on his dime. I did that today and I’m happy to say the quality was dramatically improved. Instead of 3 little pieces of chocolate- there were too many for me to count!
Delicious ice cream. Husband described his chocolate chip cookie dough as awesome and his favorite ice cream ever - he said the vanilla was so creamy without being heavy. I had sherbet and it was great. While there another family sat with us and we learned you can get a sampler - something we probably would’ve done but we rushed our decisions.
Great place! Customer service was amazing. A sweet tall boy was at the window and was so helpful! I had never gone there before, but all my friends at bowling said it was THE ice cream place, so I went to try it. They have so many delicious looking flavors so I asked this young boy to surprise me and he gave me black walnut! What a delightful ice cream flavor. He also complimented my Disney chase card! My granddaughter actually picked it out for me because she loves Disney. Lot of ice cream for a good price! He said his favorite ice cream flavor was oreo-dough which is like Oreo cookie flavor and classic cookie dough, but I said that might be a little too sweet for me! Maybe for my granddaughter, she has a sweet tooth. Will stop by again!

As I came into the city to watch my nieces and nephew while my sister is in labor, the oldest of the children quietly asked if I'd like some ice cream before bedtime. Of course, dear one! She pulled out an ice cream tub from the freezer from a place I'd never heard of-- Handel's. Decadent, rich Snappy Turtle ice cream embraced my taste buds like a perfect soulmate reunion in a romance movie. Chocolatey, nutty goodness in every bite. I fully understand why the woman with the cravings would crave this ice cream. Without even the proper in-store experience, I can gladly recommend ordering from this establishment. YUM!
This is my favorite place for ice cream. I love the texture and flavors. It's one of those places where I take friends when they come in from out of state or out of town.If they haven't had Handel's before, then I make sure they try it while they are here. Everyone I've taken LOVES it! I do too. :)If I want a treat, I'll order up a few quarts and savor them slowly. Handels is consistently one of my all time favorites!
If you have trouble picking a flavor, try this one!!! This is the pistachio ice cream with the most pistachio nuts I’ve ever had. The ice cream is so light and velvety.
Handel's has and is always my go to Best local ice-cream option. You can never go wrong with the price and flavors. The portions are huge! My favorite scoop is Chocolate Raspberry. I especially love the huge chunks of chocolate wrapped in raspberry surprising your taste buds every now and then. The seasonal flavors are great and I never am disappointed with the new flavors. Great place to hang out with family and friends in summer - open queue concept and lots of parking available at the Carmel location.
Who doesn’t love ice cream?!? Handel’s has a rotating menu for the seasons and some very yummy standards. I absolutely love that they have dairy free options! So many toppings to choose from. There are also strawberry shortcakes, brownie sundaes and huge ice cream cakes to get. Prices are very reasonable and they have a no contact payment method. The workers are very friendly and you can ask for samples of the ice cream before you buy. They do offer baby cones for kids under 3 and for doggies.Don’t let a long line steer you away, you’ll want to hop in like too!
