The best food ever! so so delicious, very friendly owner and staff!
Samosa has undercooked fillings, oil used used is bad in samosa and bhatura. The guy at the counter always finds a way to get the wrong order and argues over it instead of offering to fix it. As an Indian restaurant runner they must know that it is just naan and not naan bread. Talks in a fake American accent while serving fake Indian food. The 1 star is only because I had to give it and because of half decent chhole tikki chaat. I say half decent because even though the tikki is good, the chhole are under cooked - hard chhole, uncooked tomatoes and semi cooked potatoes in it. Pathetic place that brings shame to Indian cuisine. Absolutely horrible place.
I usually don't write negative reviews. But the food is just so bad... Its tasteless, disappointing and overpriced! The dahi puri which they apparently call as 'kachori' was a joke! In the puri was literally only dahi and sweet chutney. No fillings whatsoever, topped with meagre sev. I'm attaching a photo. Then we had the aloo tikki, i had lost interest and motivation to take pictures of the food at this point. Save your money, there are many better Indian restaurants in Carmel. I had to go to a different just to change my taste. In indian culture, we always respect food, and never throw it away... But we had to really trash the food we ordered... As we really couldn't have it anymore. When we were asked how we found everything, my husband said good because he is a very good hearted person and hates to say somety otherwise. Its difficut yes, but the true review and experience needs to be expressed otherwise management would never know that the customers leave disaatisfied never to return again :( I really had better expectations from this one.
I’m not one to write negative reviews but the food was just bad. I ordered a chili chicken wrap and it had like two small pieces of chicken and an overwhelming amount of red sauce dripping from the bag with nothing but tomatoes and wet lettuce. For a second I thought they gave me a veggie wrap. It’s a bummer that I paid $12 + tip for that. First and last time for me.
This was literally the worst Indian cuisine I’ve ever tasted. The chicken kabob dish came to a total of $30 including a disgusting sauce that I never requested. The dish was served cold. It was tasteless and the owner of the restaurant asked how it was and when I told him it was not very good he offered to give me “something else.” I am by no means a picky eater but this was probably the worse dining experience I’ve ever had in my life.
I've eaten here several times and never had a bad experience. Mostly get the chicken tikka masala but I've also had the lamb saag. Great samosas and naan as well.
The concept is different, like in Panera. First time....the food was good. My friend n myself ordered pani puri, chutney was excellent though the quantity of Chana could have been more. We took a meal which was veg korma, Naan, rice. It was tasty. The owner was present and talked to us, very cordial. Ordered some sweets, loved the carrot halwa. Then I ordered a goat biryani for 16.99 for some friends, takeaway. Very disappointing. I was told there were only 3 pieces and didn't feel like they eating biryani. Overall a good experience but one point taken away for the expensive and disappointing biryani.
Very disappointed1. Overly priced2. Taste. Never have I had worst Indian food than this. Chicken wrap was tortilla filled with tomato ketchup3. Presentation, stark difference between what’s served and what’s on the menu
Very well behaved staff and good food.
Food was uncooked. I asked server about the samosa being uncooked He said samosa is made like that only with uncooked flour. Adding the photo so you guys decide.
