Classic Chicago food... We had the Italian beef which was great! We thought the fries with beer and blue cheese was very strong. Don't order if you don't like blue cheese and a very heavy beer flavor
We ordered a burger and chicken strips for delivery while we were in town for a baseball tournament. Everything was delicious! The Mac n cheese was amazing and the burger was perfectly cooked. And this was after it rose in their delivery vehicle. We plan to eat in next time!
Took the kids here for a quick lunch on a Friday afternoon when it wasn't too busy. Super friendly staff, even the waiters and waitresses that weren't assigned to our table all said hello and were very pleasant. Kid friendly, crayons and a coloring menu were provided. We ordered a cheese pizza, fries and two burgers. Service was quick, everything was cooked to perfection, the fries were some of the best I've ever had!The only critique I have is that the floors were really really sticky which I hate, my shoe actually came off my foot because it stuck to the floor at one point and the floor below our table was very dirty... so I really hope this was just a one time occurrence and giving them the benefit of the doubt because I was very pleased with the rest of our experience. We will be back and hopefully management will see this review and make sure the floors are better maintained in the future.

Wow! Everything had so much flavor and was delicious. We finished our burgers in under 5 minutes because we never put them back down on the plate. Highly recommend the beer cheese fries ?
The service was good, and the prices are also good for the amount of food that you get. The menu is quite large with a wide variety of options. The food was on the greasy side, even for the calzone I ordered, so it wasn't my favorite. I would maybe consider coming back but stick to things like burgers and fries.
This place is amazing. It was our first time dining at Fat Dan's Deli. They were highly recommended by our neighbors. First off the staff is extremely friendly. Hunter, Christian, and Jamie were awesome and made our experience a memorable one. We had the italian beef and the fatty melt. Both were delicious. We can't wait to come back and try the dirty tots and wings next time.
First time here for a business lunch. I can only speak for the amazing Reuben sandwich and excellent service. I will be back with the family to explore more of the menu.

I'm a chicago native and resident who was visiting a friend from Carmel, whom was also from Chicago. We were just walking along the road and randomly stopped Fat Dan's. Low and behold, a Chicago Street food bar and grill. Everything was top notch chicago. The Italian beef and Chicago hot dog was made perfectly. Fresh cut fries were delicious. Service was equally as good. Wrll done, Fat Dan's. Looking forward to seeing you again!
