Customer service is not great there today. Person working drive thru grabbed my blizzard rudely to fix it up for us. Because i asked him to because it really wasn't what we wanted. Ordered strawberry with extra strawberry. It was all vanilla under the top surface. Then I thanked him afterwards as he and a fellow Co worker looked at us like we were from outer space. He rudely shut the window on us twice. I'm not overly confident in today's youth to be able to handle any kind of customer service jobs at all, and this is a prime example.
I just had a birthday cake on July 2 for my 13 yrs old son. He was disappointed when he cut the cake. The name was spelled wrong and ice cream flavors were mess up too. I ordered chocolate ( which is his favorite) and Oreo but we got vanilla instead.
It is clear that at 11 am my burger had either been sitting under a heat lamp so long that it tasted microwaved or it was actually microwaved. After 15 minutes of cooling, it was still extremely hot and tasted very dry with the cheese so over cooked it was hard.
I ordered a small cone for $2.49. By time I got to the window, it was now $3.05. Something is wrong with this picture.
Usually a very good place. More often than not, there is a line, but it goes pretty fast. Unfortunately, every time we go there's some item on the menu that isn't available like onion rings, chicken tenders, etc. Still a really good place.
The Indian man in there is very rude and racist! I won't be returning because they can't get a simple request correct! If something is not on your menu then say that.. don't take it upon yourself to substitute my order without my permission and then get rude when I call you out on it!! You won't ever get my money again!! DRIVE THE EXTRA MILES TO THE OTHER LOCATIONS HOPEFULLY YOU'LL GET BETTER SERVICE!
No line at 7pm at drive thru so pretty quick service. I did have to wait while they cooked my onion rings - but they were worth it! My burger was good & food is good value for the cost.
We arrived at the drive through 10-12 minutes before close. We waited to order for 4-5 minutes. No one ever acknowledged our presence. Thinking that the drive through speaker was broken, we went on around to the window. All the windows were completely covered so we couldn’t see who, if anyone, was working. We waited a few minutes before tapping on the horn to try and get some attention. Still no one came to the window. That may be the last time we patronize this DQ. There are lots of places in Carmel to get ice cream and more are coming.
Been going to this DQ for almost 45 years. Last two times, totally been ripped off, and talked down to!!! Lady Took my order wrong, gave me something I would NEVER order, and when told they got it wrong, the guy argued with me like I was lying or trying to get over on him. Never been more disappointed in this place. Even after them closing early, Hung in there, and the even the bad quality of food now!! over it for sure!!!! going to DQ in Westfield. So sad, because DQ is a staple of Carmel. Carmel DQ is dead…
Simply one of the worst DQ experiences I've had. Ordered two simple blizzards... got both of them wrong... Due to the lack of staff and huge line, I didn't feel like complaining as it would have taken an hour to get it fixed. Get in the car to go home and neither of our blizzards were even mixed through... only the top 1/4... the lower 3/4 of each was just vanilla. Won't be back.
