I visit this location often for lunch. The service is always impeccable! I particularly enjoy it when James is my server. He's very polite, takes great care of you, and we chat about football! My two favorites are the shrimp tacos and the chicken chuychanga with creamy jalapeno sauce. The chips are always spot on as well!
Cute 50s style tex mex place good food, but the last few times service has gotten worse and worse to down right awful. Went in recently and no hostess in sight after several minutes the manager noticed us and came up asking us where his hostess was! She then came around the corner from extended unused dining area looking like she had been napping back there, sleep lines on her face from having head down on the table or her shirt. We were seated and waiter came to take drink order....full 5 minutes from order to drinks coming even though we were seated next to the bar. Still we like the food here so we let that all go. Ordered our meal and waited another 30 minutes. I finally flagged down a different waiter as our had not been back and he said " oh yeah your food has been ready for 10 minutes, we lost the ticket and didn't know whose it was. So he brings out or cheese covered meals that have been sitting under a heat lamp for 10 minutes....gross coagulated cheese. I asked for a manager and when we told her what happened...she argued with us that the food had not been sitting for ten minutes and that it was fine. Now she did offer to remake it but at this time we had been in the restaurant for a good 45 minutes and had other places to go so we said no and she argued more and said we were being unreasonable. I simply told her we didn't want to pay for a meal we were not going to eat. She huffed " fine I'll take care of it" and walked off. So yeah the food is good...but not worth dealing with that service.
food not as good as before in fact I didn't eat it all by no means.
Our server was pretty nice, and we went in knowing it was Tex-Mex, so not authentic Mexican food. My daughter ordered the steak burrito and I ordered the steak chuychanga. The steak was unseasoned, the rice was hard. The beans were actually good. The tortillas were a weird bread-like consistency. I try to give new places a try, just for variety, but we most likely wont return here, unless its just for their chips and salsa.
I love this place at the Zionsville location. Good food, great service. They have a spicy ranch dip they bring out with chips and salsa that is so good. Usually they bring you fresh chips to go if you want and have always been over the top great servers. Highly recommend for Mexican food.
This is my go-to place when I feel like drinking something fruitie. Their already mixed frozen margaritas are delicious and they have about 5 different flavors that you can mix and match ?Their food is also delicious, but this time I just went to the bar and had a few beverages. They give you complimentary chips and salsa, so you don't get wasted on a empty stomach. Now for some reason they seem to change their bartenders very often. The one star missing is for a rare lack of cleanness. There was an area of the bar counter that had some chip crumbs from the last person sitting there, but unfortunately this was not cleaned while I was there... and was there long enough to watch an entire game from the the first round of the March Madness ?
Chuy's is a Tex-Mex leader in Indy. They have cool shirts, cool atmosphere and they have a jalapeno ranch sauce to die for! Seriously best sauce ever!
Was really good food, salsa came out a bit to spicy for my liking but the rest of the food made up.for it. I had the Elvis and my wife had a burrito
tbh i didn’t like it,i wasn’t a huge fan. service was great but my food came out fast. I just didn’t enjoy my meal
Pretty good food, very kind and friendly server. We enjoyed our time there
