Great little coffee spot right on Main Street.
The whipped cream on my drink was disgustingly sweet. Not real dairy whipped cream.Purchased South Bend Dark Chocolate...some were good but the cherry cordial was also too sweet, as if it was filled with pure high fructose corn syrup.Purchase a cappuccino - made very well and was the best item we purchased.
Cappuccino was good. Also bought South Bend chocolates. The cherry cordial tasted like chocolate covered corn syrup. Sickeningly sweet. Overall, their chocolate is mediocre.
Cherry cordial to die for. Malted milk balls have too much chocolate, and too little malt. So pass on those.
Great coffee and chocolates! My favorite drink is their peppermint mocha definitely go in and give them a try. My one improvement for the facility would be to work on being consistent for work hours. I normally grab coffee right when they open but sometimes they don't open on time, which means I just go down the street to Indy Roasters instead.
Walked in and no one's at the counter. There are two teens in the corner and a group by the window. Stood there awkwardly for a minute or two and no one come, so I called. One of the teens in the corner goes behind the counter and answered the phone; I told him I was at the counter waiting. He comes to the counter telling me how they're out of everything and everyone's quitting and that's why no one was at the counter (as if he thinks I didn't see that he clearly wasn't busy doing anything work related). Long story short, service was terrible and the hot chocolates were gross. Will be calling tomorrow to ask for a refund.
I’ve tried a few products now on a few different occasions, and none of it has been good quality. The chocolate tastes more like candy coating. The truffles tasted a week old - they were hard and did not have the lovely ganache center one would expect. And the flavoring tasted off (orange, raspberry, chocolate). The melt aways definitely did not melt away and the mint was nearly non-existent and almost chalky. The hot chocolate was meh - you’d get a better cup from an Abuelita block, making it at home.
Not a lot of people are commenting on the coffee from this place. I was very pleased with the caramel latte I got yesterday. Maybe put some more blueberries in the muffins.
Not impressed with the chocolate... Had an orange truffle and it tasted like it was a week old. Service was poor. I do not recommend.
