Food: the Big Ugly Elk burger I had was pretty good. It was a new experience for me. They have a special spicy mayo dip they make, definitely worth a try. It goes great with the fries.Service: I got there and there weren't any free tables outside. However, the inside was completely empty. They still made me put my name and number down to wait for a table. 30mins later, still no call to get a table. I went back to them stood at the front until they tended to me. Finally got a table and still had to wait another 10mins until they decided to come take my order.Overall: Carmel is a really beautiful city. Very pedestrian friendly. The burger was massive and tasty. If they had more workers, I'd be giving them 5 stars. But the service just wasn't as fluid as it should be. I'd still recommend visiting for the food and city!
This restaurant is right along the Monon Trail, perfect for biking for walking to. It's within the Arts district, making it a great stop in the midst of visiting the local shops. After trying bites of both the beef burger and the elk burger, I will likely always order elk! My youngest ordered a hot dog, which was HUGE! if you like crispy fries, try the waffle fries.We sat at an outdoor table. These tables had Uno decks on them, which was perfect for family time before eating. The servers answered all of our questions and made great suggestions to us! Bub's also has a secret menu. We didn't try it, but we'd like to!
after flying to florida instead of mexico, i try flying to india, since it had the only open flight to germany, but i fly to indiana instead. at least i drove to this place. the burgers are big and tasty and my friend Quandle (from Dingle, Ireland) said they were the best he has ever eaten! 10/10
Great food! Great service!
Went there today. Sat at 12:50 (which is when they called us on the phone), greeted finally by the server at 1:05. We were seated in front of the server computers and I watched him spend the next 10 minutes putting in our order for 5 people and he finally finished that at 1:18. Food didn't arrive until 1:50 - but not his fault. The food was all messed up, my wife's burger missing the cheese, mine missing the bacon and our order of fries nowhere to be found. He got the fries and bacon, no sign ever of the cheese. We got the bill and he charged us for the drink that should have come with the kids meal. But since he also screwed up the bill of those sitting with us and we watching it take another 10 minutes to remove a beer from their bill, the extra 2.95 wasn't worth the time. They had plenty of employees. But our server just had zero drive. Don't dine here. Very horrific experience. I only tipped 15% because I know how much servers make... I can't in good conscience stiff them. Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had.

I ordered the big ugly one pound and it was pretty good. The shakes here are good as well. Something you really should try is the basket of sweet potato waffle fries with the marshmallow dipping sauce. It was amazing.
Absolutely my favourite place to go. It's not a fancy restaurant and it's not a sloppy fast food place! It's nice. I love hanging out with my friends, eating snacks and sometimes dinner there. I always pick this place to get together with someone when it's not a house. This place is the HEART of Carmel! They're employees are super kind! :)
Service and food are great here! Great environment and everything. They have off menu stuff, the waiter will usually mention it. Half pound bbq burger is my favorite. Quarter pound breakfast burger is my wife choice. Both off menu. We're gonna come back to try the elk. They serve more than just burgers too! The freaking soup, man! Just great! They have their own parking, which is real helpful in that area too. No complaints here.
