Village pub is a nice place to get a drink. The Lipstick Switchblade was a great drink. The grapefruit was not overpowering which I enjoyed.
I was very Impressed with this place, We didn't know what to expect when I walked into it with my girlfriend to check it out. Just happened to be a Wednesday night and after 7:30 I believe is when they start some live music. One of the owners Sings. This is more of a relaxing sitting atmosphere and you will spend around $20 a person, but well worth it. Food was great and drinks were to. Brett I Think is another one of the owners and was walking around checking on customers. Great place!!
Strolling through the downtown streets of Bloomington and we noticed a downstairs bar scene that looked fabulous. We walked in and the host said we could sit downstairs or up, we chose the upstairs balcony style seating. What a gem!! Great cocktails, food was fabulous-fabulous. We ate the mushroom flat bread, Little Gem salad and roasted veggie skewer. Everything prepared perfectly! Our waitress, Stephanie was one of the best we have had in years. Always smiling, willing to be sure we were taken care of and we could tell she had the whole upstairs section-Great Job! Thinking we have to go back tonight to make sure we didn't dream it all, but I doubt we did. Wonderful place, nice to see such place is still out there. Thank You!
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and EXTREMELY knowledgeable bartenders (ask for Phil). Food is impeccable and the drinks are trendy and sophisticated.

Quality food and unique cocktails. A good variety of choices. Met the chef’s father - proud Dad! :-) busy but worth the wait.

I REALLY want to like this place. Jazzy atmosphere, cocktails, and some food is exactly the kind of night out my Fiancé and I look for.The drinks are pretty good, but I have had nothing but bad experiences with the food both times I have been here. My Fiancé ordered the cheeseburgers and they where raw.Not just alittle pink. These things where red in the inside. The waitress was super nice and had them remade for us.However, the new burgers where also pretty red and undercooked. My ribs where the okayest ribs I have ever had, though they were plated beautifully. His food was comped.The last time we came here we just got drinks and some fries and the fries were undercooked. The potato wasn't quite as soft as you would expect fully cooked fries to be.We didn't think much of it and let it go.I really want to like this place, and haven't seen any other bad reviews so I don't know if we just end up with the worst luck or what. We love live music and this place has a nice atmosphere for that.
Happen to hear the music caught my ear and look over and found a gem. It was such a pleasure that it’s my favorite go to at least a couple times a week… I am so excited to back and enjoy the company of the bartenders those gentlemen were very amazing…
Love the food. Drinks are inconsistent. Service can be a struggle bus here. They get overwhelmed easily, but they're very friendly and polite. I'd be here more often if they had better trained bartenders. Whatever happened to Ethan?
