One of the best dive bars in all of Bloomington. We love this place for it’s no-frills chill environment. The food, service, and vibe is everything. The bar is a great place to socialize with town folk. Pool tables, TVs, great food and good times - what more can you ask for?

I would give 0 stars if possible. I use to go to this bar on a regular basis. The fact the bar owner is uneducated on service animals is unacceptable. It doesn’t matter what the disability is. By law NO business can reject a customer with a service dog!! NO MATTER the disability! Unless the dog is damaging property! Legally they can’t even ask for documents proving an animal is a service animal. They broke two laws and still think they are in the write. Educate yourself or close your business! I hope these people sue

Well, I have come to the Office Lounge for quite some time. I recently read a review though about a service dog not being allowed inside due to the owners lack of information on service dogs. Not all service dogs service people who are PHYSICALLY disabled. There are lots of service dogs who save their owners life from low blood sugar!! There are lots of service dogs who stop their owners from have a panic attack in a public place with lots of people. Those are just two examples. Service dogs are trained for SEVERAL things. It definitely shouldn’t be a decision that you think you get to pick and choose which ones you will except or not. This is sickening. And your response to the review is sickening as well. This was the only place I’d come to after a long week and needing a night out with my girls. Not sure I’ll be back now. As a dog groomer servicing the Bloomington area and providing MANY service dogs with dog grooming, I don’t pick and chose which ones I think should be classified as a service dog. Neither should you!

“We allow dogs for blind people and PHYSICALLY disabled people.” Oh but you ask a disabled veteran with a service dog to leave?? You don’t even know what kind of disability this veteran had and you do not get to the judge what disabilities are allowed and not allowed based on the ADA guidelines. As a business owner, you should know the law and your responsibility to uphold it. This is a shame.

Have made the ADA aware as well as a report against your liquor license. Not only is denying access wrong it is illegal and the party involved can file a civil lawsuit against you...and win. I highly suggest you apologize and take down your response before this goes any further. Would hate for you to lose your license and business over something this silly.

Wow! Talk about supporting our troops! Highly discriminatory and against the law! Ever hear of American Disability Act? Contact Indiana Attorney General and a lawyer....they will do the rest. Places like this need to be fined, sued, and shutdown! This coward probably hasnt done anything for his/her freedom! Put another Support The Troops bumper sticker on your car, coward! Guess all us PTSD Vets with service dogs need to head to Bloomington! Peacefully of course!

Sad someone will sign their life to make sure you have the freedom you do to say no and yet you disrespect a veteran by not allowing him. But what is more shocking and the reason I am leaving a 1 star is the response you gave the wife on here. Rude, unprofessional and not someone I would ever buy anything from. Get some manners and do better

The owner doesn't ALLOW rap music which is obviously racially motivated and heavily censors what karaoke songs you are allowed to sing!Plus they discriminate against service dogs...better off going somewhere else than giving these people your money

Does not accommodate service animals unless you’re blind. Had a veteran turned away with his service dog (the dog is a certified service animal for a disability, not an ESA) and didn’t even bother to ask what service the dog provides. He would’ve known then that the dog was not an ESA. Super illegal.

Recently came across a facebook post stating this business refused service to a DISABLED VETERAN who had his SERVICE DOG with him. Completely unprofessional and illegal under the Disabilities Act. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
