Absolutely would NOT recommend! We were there on a Tuesday night. Place was almost empty. Waitresses were not in a hurry for anything. We waited 20 mins for a bottle of beer. Waited almost an hour for our food which was barely edible at best. No napkins or silverware until we asked for it AFTER getting our food. Absolutely terrible service!
I have friends who were here when their vehicle was hit by a hit and run driver. The owner refused to cooperate with law enforcement & would not allow a review of video footage. If this is how the owner shows he values his customers, how he demonstrates his corporate responsibility to promote maintaining peace and order in the community, and how he demonstrates that he is a good neighbor - then I certainly will choose to spend my money in another establishment.
Food was good. I have been a server for almost 3 years and I was extremely disappointed with the waitress. Took almost 15 mins to get to us and it wasn't busy AT ALL..we had to ask to be waited on TWICE. She threw silver wear on the table and forgot lemons and then mixed them up the second time. Managed to throw out the kids comment so as to work on that tip tho! Food was good, service was terrible.
New ownership was not a good thing for this what-used-to-be nice country restaurant. After ordering the fish, with fries & 'slaw',, the fish was not much more than fried batter, the slaw, cut up strips of red cabbage stuffed in a little cup I first thought was garnishment, the fries were the best thing. Also, $40 for fish & fries at a little country restaurant seems pricey.
Friendly staff and good food! Will definitely stop in again. Really good vinegar, onion and cabbage slaw.
Love the staff and atmosphere at the Fairfax Inn. Food is quality, but a bit pricey, but that's the world we live in these days thanks to the rona virus. Im not mad about it. Every time i walk in this place they make you feel like you're family. Karaoke on Thursdays, live music on Saturdays and pool tables!! Will return regularly.
We visited the restaurant Thursday, 4/14 and it was fantastic. Food was great and service was wonderful. We brought our friends back Friday night and it was terrible. Missing food and overcharging…newer staff so trying to give the benefit of the doubt but she gave us one receipt and then charged another credit card our receipt plus more. It was absolutely the biggest mess I have ever seen!!Will not be back anytime soon!!
Overpriced for what you get. Menus don’t have pricing so buyer beware. If you’re going to charge $11 for a chef salad at least put more than a sprinkling of meat. Staff is friendly.
