Very good ice cream! Prices were surprisingly low.
My daughter really enjoyed her ice cream! It was delicious. The place is nice, spread out and very clean.

Terrible ice cream. Sorry guys but seriously not good. Tried 4 different flavors because no one else in my group liked theirs either. Would definitely recommend switching around some recipes. The bright side is that it was comparatively cheap.
Ordered a one year wedding anniversary cake from them. Picked up the cake and served it to my guests the same day. The buttercream was sour or it was made with salt. Either way we ended up throwing the entire cake away as no one could even eat a bite. I was so embarrassed. I messaged them and told them about the incident. They gave me 20% off on a cake that I could not eat. Will NEVER get anything from them again.
So many options for flavors and toppings. Soft serve and traditional scoop. Just really good ice cream!
Went here in the late 80's as a student. It used to be a small drive-up ice cream place. They have since moved into a legitimate building which was very nice. Always got a hot fudge malt with extra malt and did again recently. Top notch!
Alumni of IU, we return to Campus every several years to see what's new, what's not, and what disappeared. Well, the Chocolate Moose that we stopped by EVERY time we visited Campus is now a parking lot. There is a NEW Chocolate Moose in a building 2 storefronts away from what is still the Chocolate Moose's parking lot -- but not really the Chocolate Moose's Parking Lot. Let me explain. There are NO parking spaces available in the parking lot for Chocolate Moose customers until after 4:00 PM! Not knowing about this parking conundrum, we visited the New Moose at 2:00 PM, and asked their employees about the parking. The clerks explained that customers wanting ice cream treats BEFORE 4:00 PM use the PAID/METERED parking across the very busy WALNUT STREET. Since we were not encouraged to order at this NEW MOOSE, and not wanting to be human dodge-balls while attempting to park at the paid meters and run across the street (we are in our mid-70's), we thanked them for this parking information and left. We were aware of a Chocolate Moose in the Indiana University Memorial Union and decided to wait until after dinner have our treat then. And now for the rest of the story..... At the IU CHOCOLATE MOOSE, we ordered a Chocolate Peanut Butter MALT! Surprise it couldn't be done! Soft serve vanilla "ice cream" topped by chocolate syrup- NO PEANUT BUTTER, no suggestions by the clerk (wife spotted and substituted crumbled Reeses Peanut Butter Candy Bar Pieces in the Sundae Topping Area) and NO MALT POWDER... a MALT we had been ordering at the Original Chocolate Moose for decades, was no longer available. Are these new owners of the Chocolate Moose (now with 3 locations) trying to fail? Limited parking, no signs posted to help potential customers know when and where to park, key elements for an ordered product not available in at least one location. Sad, really sad ;-(
August 25th 2019. Stopped here for ice cream after a full day if sightseeing. always busy and always good.
Sugar & Spice made my daughters first birthday away from home very special. I ordered the Birthday Celebration basket and it was perfect! She said her cake was delicious and she was able to share it with a whole group of friends. They delivered everything they promised.
