We were out pretty late at night and we’re trying to find our kids something to eat as well as us before we headed back to the hotel. Burger joints were all 21+ after 10p. I have two picky eaters (well one picky and one totally unpredictable eater). Both of my kids absolutely devoured their food. My wife and I decided we wanted to get an alcoholic pitcher of something to drink! So the pineapple Margaritas. That was great. Love the random mix of peppers used to add just the right heat. And thankful for the wonderful use of quality alcohol. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for everything and we look forward to coming back!
Great food and great atmosphere.
My wife and I both thought this would be a nice place to have drinks, since it is a great location and had a nice atmosphere. The drink selection is nice, and the drink I had was good. The food wasn't that great unfortunately. It was fine, but every other Mexican place in town is better. Also, our waitress brought us a different table's food.
It was great to have so many creative fillings for individual tacos, and the one I ordered was delicious. Cocktails were superb as well. I gave two stars because of the alleged street corn they serve. The corn I received had never been within miles of a grill, and appeared to have come from a can. So disappointing.
The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. The price is cheap. The servings are a lot. I think it’s American+Mexican food. Their spicy sauce is real!!! I love the sauce a lot. I will visit again??
The worker quality of the restaurant is good. However, I had tamales, pozole, and pork tacos. These people charge for salsa. BIG MISTAKE! The pork was too sweet and the tamales are huge bricks of flour. Don't expect authentic Mexican food here. You're better off eating a Taco Bell.
Really enjoyed their guacamole and chips. Got their bowl, it was just average… kind of on par with chipotle. Got a variety of their soft corn tacos which were pretty good, especially their fish taco. for some quick Mexican not a bad choice
One of the best restaurants with the most extensive taco selection in Bloomington. Delicious! Love the Cali Guac with chips and salsa.
The manager seems to have extreme anger issues and was very rude to my table. We were refused alcoholic service and I can’t help but wonder if it’s because we were a group of 2 lesbian couples.. we are all over 21 so it wasn’t an issue of “false ids”, it seemed to come from a place of anger from the manager. This bigotry is unacceptable, but unfortunately not uncommon.
I finally tried Social Cantina after being really resistant to the price. It is on the high end for me, but they do deliver on taste.They give an excellent sized portion of guacamole, and the chips were delicious and fresh.I got two tacos; Ahi Tuna, without the mango, and the Shrimp Verde. Of the two, I preferred the Ahi Tuna just because I thought the spice level was perfect, whereas the habanero crema on the shrimp was just a tad too spicy for my taste. If you love spicy food or the habanero flavor specifically, it's a great option.I also tried their Paloma cocktail, and I'm not usually a grapefruit kind of person, but I loved this
