5 stars for its history and being iconic, including the famous sink the biz. However -2 stars for the fact that the service is as bad as I've ever seen it and some of the employees have dismissive and apathetic attitudes. My memory of when I was a student 15 years ago is that the Nick's staff tried their best and treated everyone equally, and most importantly they were in on the fun. Now that I'm older I'm not seeing that effort. If i wanted a bartender to only focus on a group of women and ignore me I'd go to Sports where that BS is par for the course. The kitchen at Nick's is also closing way WAY too early on most days and even weekends. Now maybe they're all overworked and underpaid, maybe the kitchen staff is missing folks, that's plausible. So if the employees aren't attentive to customers needs, it could be because there simply aren't enough of them. Either way management needs to figure out how to get Nick's back to it's glory days, and if the biggest problem right now is staffing and employee retention (which that could be) then the way to address the root cause is offering better pay and benefits to attract the cream of the crop people that Nick's is supposed to have. The next time I'm back in B-town, (probably 6 months from now) I'll update this review to see if things have got better or worse.
Worst bar in Bloomington Staff is unfriendly as hell to foreigners. If you have the chance to visit this beautiful town I recommend to stay away from this pub as to not ruin your experience.Visit the upstairs bar over the street for a good night out.By the way burgers are delivered already cold.
Was very happy with my experience at nicks!!!! The waitress me and my grandma had was kind !!!! The wings were hot and warm and yummy !!! But the thing about nicks is how big there food plates were !!! And there onion rings were super delicious!!!! I highly recommended this place to iu fans and people who visit Bloomington
This is just steps from campus and probably very popular on the weekends. Food is average college bar food. It's a bit expensive for what you get.

It has a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff is nice and welcoming. They are attentive and courteous.The beers are cold and various. And the food is really good.

Might be the worst pizza I’ve had in my entire life. Wouldn’t eat there if I were starving. The service is absolutely terrible. I decided to come back with my friends to go to the bar on a Saturday night and the old man who checks id’s was extremely creepy towards my girl friends and very rude to guys. He should not be employed as he made my friends want to leave immediately. Overall experience 0/10
