Steaks are always cooked to perfection. The fire roasted veggies are amazing. The atmosphere is great. All around great experience.
terrible service, a friends burger wasn't done , sure manager never heard a word about it , then after that was brought to the waitresses attention she avoided our table , I never got offered a refill rushed in and then rushed out , she even tried to take the appetizer, as I was eating from it !! not to mention your building should never smell of smoke, king dough never did , and neither does Lenny's do not plan on returning very disappointed, expected more upscale , should have worn my bib overalls ..
It’s been a while since we ate there. But it has not changed a bit. Always super consistent great food. And the service is top shelf too.
Food was great - at least what they got right of our order and actually brought out was. And they made no attempts to make it right. Horrible service.
My only complaint about this restaurant was the food. My expectation for a place that has been in Bloomington for so long was a high quality meal. The menu was interesting so I thought they would have better execution of the description of their meals. I ordered the salad that had Ahi Tuna on it. It had nothing interesting on it and was drenched in a bottle dressing that was so heavy I couldn't even eat it. My husband got a garlic fettuccini with shrimp and it had no flavor. The shrimp still had the tails on so that made it awkward to eat in a noodle dish. The staff was friendly and the decor is very nice, too bad the food was so disappointing.
First time this weekend and it was really terrible. It took an hour and 40 minutes to get our entrees. The waitress blamed the kitchen. The manager only showed up after 90 minutes had gone by and he blamed the waitress. He comped the drinks but totally blew off the bad experience we were having. My daughter used the restroom so my wife and I left before her. As she left, the manager, waitress and others were talking trash about us at the front desk. Wonderful. Terrible service, very mediocre food, then complaining about US like high schoolers after we leave. Bloomington has so many good places. This isn’t one of them.
This place is awesome! The caramelized salmon was the best I’ve ever had, and I definitely recommend trying that entree. The service is also one of the best things about this place, they’re super attentive and really know what they’re doing and how to make a good impression. 10/10
I wasn't sure about the place based on the name, but I am really glad I ended up going there. The menu is great, food is amazing, service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. Fine dining done right with a decent whiskey selection.
We ate dinner at the Malibu grill. They have many food items to choose from. The food was excellent. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. The Key Lime pie is delicious and a perfect way to top off dinner!
Two bad experiences in a row. Had to send my Filet back after it came to the table mooing. When they brought it back, it was still rare on the inside and burnt on the outside. All the other food seemed okay. Manager never came to the table to address the issue. Server was nice, which is why I didn’t leave a one star review. Should have taken a picture.
