Very good service, great authentic food. We got tamales and mole and everything was so good. Very neat little place worth the trip to visit and have a sit down meal w the family.
If u want authentic Mexican food this is ur place. My hubby didn't like all the veggies. The beans could use some work. The service was amazing. I would recommend this. U have to love veggies every dish comes with them.
We did an event that required lots of catered food and they were super helpful. Reasonably priced, quickly got back to us, and the food was amazing.
Went here on the recommendation of a friend who said it's the best Mexican food in town. Man something must have happened since he last ate here because it was not a good experience.Firstly we stood waiting to be seated for a good 10 minutes while the hostess walked by us. When we were finally seated and had ordered, the waitress told us what we had ordere may no longer be available and went to go check. About 10 minutes later, she came by and asked if she had taken our order. We said yes but she was supposed to check to see if the order was available. She said it was. Then the chef came out to the confirm the order which the waitress had apparently written down wrong. When the food came, it came without silverware. What it did come with was an apology from the chef because it was overdone. He said he would recook it if I wanted. I was on lunch break and didn't have time for him to recook it. I've never had my food come with an apology before nor have I had a waitress ask if she's taken the order. Definitely a new experience.
Service is always great! Portions are large. Food tastes fantastic. One of the best Mexican restraunts in at least 50 mile radius to Bloomington. Staff is very friendly. Beers are good also. Not too pricy.
The food was decent, but the service was phenomenal. That little lady ran around like crazy.
I found the food extremely bland and the service not so great either. Specifically I ordered the pozole, and while the menu it states that the dishes served traditionally with many things on the side to add into the soup mine came with a giant mound of lettuce and onions piled in the middle of the bowl of soup and they were apparently out of some of the other sides such as radishes. The carne asada tacos were extremely bland also. Many of the restaurants I've had the dish in before it is obvious that the beef is marinated and seasoned with some attention. The meat in these tacos was obviously just beef cooked in some oil. We also ordered four of their chicken for a day tamales. Three of them were chicken one was vegetable when they arrive. All of them were very dry and crumbly without much taste. I was going to give one star but I bumped it up to two so because the waitress asked us what we thought of the meal and could tell we were somewhat disappointed so she asked us to be very honest. So we told her very honestly what we thought and it was nice to see someone listening with interest and a desire to improve.
Best tacos I have ever had in my life. The corn tortillas changed me.
Unimpressed :( I was so excited to visit this restaurant. The menu looked great! Once we arrived to pick up our order, we were told that they were out of my the tacos that my husband ordered. Such a bummer! Food was just okay.
It is a little pricey, but service was great and fast. The only place around I could find a good arroz con pollo. My fiancé got the steak fajitas and said they were great.
