Another Bloomington eatery that indicates they are open. Show up to find they closed at 1pm on a Wednesday. Add you guys to my list of don’t waste my money on “shopping local”
The staff are charming, friendly, and personable. The food was great!
Wow, first time here, I gotta say, this was worth it. Especially the burger, that is the star if this place. I got a hinkle with cheese and some mozzarella sticks. I really suggest going and trying the burger, if you dont like that, you ain't got taste buds. Its certainly worth the 30 min drive from where I live. Next time I go back in gonna try out some of the other things on the menu.
It is definitely something similar to Bob’s Burgers the animated series. Best burgers. Nostalgic atmosphere. I never want this place to change.Go-to is the Hinkle with cheese. My picky kids actually eat the food here too. They pound the grilled cheeses, fried mushrooms, shakes and fries. On a busy day you’re gonna have a small wait- it’s worth every single second.
Every time I go there everyone is so nice and the food is so delicious
They have great cheeseburgers at a reasonable price.
This is the perfect local burger spot. It's not a chain, and it's fresh! While dining in and eating, it's cool hearing the fryers bubble in the background. Wonderful local spot perfect for the greasy burger and fries! I personally love the jalapeno poppers!
A Bloomington icon. Hinkle's smash burgers are the best in town. They've been doing it right since forever ago and haven't changed a thing but the price! I've enjoyed them since I was a kid, and now my kids are getting the experience. If you haven't been, you're missing out.
$25 for 2 people is pretty high for what you get. The meat itself was good and well seasoned. More of a thin style patty. The combo being $4.99 is a huge turn off to me. It is advertised as any side, however fries are so common I felt I paid more than it should be. $2.99 I could probably justify. First were ok, nothing fancy. Service was good but was not a fan of the ladies ball gag face mask. Not really appropriate for a customer environment.
