Terrible interaction with staff as a result of “bad communication” between management and front desk. Was talked down to and demeaned, issue was not resolved and I ended up getting billed for a night I didn’t stay, even though I was told I could check out early. Pool closed, restaurant closed, breakfast was $7, even for Hilton members. A great experience was ruined by the rudeness of one employee and she seemed happy not to accommodate the guests. Never staying on Hilton properties again!

I am a Hilton Honors Member and very disappointed in the room for this hotel. Bad road noise / dirty bathroom and overall bad evening of sleep. Very disappointed and hopefully not a trend moving forward.

Just another Hilton garden Inn, an average property with clean room and good location. Not so great service, we checked in late and the desk person gave us the keys and wrote down a wrong room number on the piece of paper, we ended up having to go back to the desk.

100% filthy rooms!! Maybe the beds were remade after the last guest and new towels but that's it! Toilet not even flushed from last guest, shower gross, room not vacuumed and NOBODY at the front desk to complain about it! Parking that I paid for in advance the key didn't open the gate. Brutal. First complaint and I'm a Hilton Honors member. Got a discount for NSO weekend and even that was WAY too much to pay to stay here. never again.

We paid nearly $200 to stay here. Breakfast is not included, so during our booking, we paid extra for breakfast. The next morning we walked in for breakfast and the attendant screamed at as “this isn’t free!!!”. After politely explaining that we had already paid, we went to check out the “freshly prepared every morning” breakfast, which consisted of stale cereal boxes, yogurt, plain bread, and blueberries.During our stay, we had to park in a parking garage by the hotel. When we checked in, the front desk individual told us that the next day, the gate would be up in the morning so we should be able to leave the parking garage and not have to pay. However, the next morning the gate was not open like we were told, so we paid. The gate did not go up so we had to call the city department to get them to open the gate for us.We put the do not disturb sign on our door, and that morning the housekeeper knocked on our door and asked if he could come in and clean…we had the do not disturb sign on!!!The air conditioner was also very bad so our room was hot all night. This was the type of service I would expect for $60 a night, not $200 a night. I would NOT recommend.

The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel has a very nice entrance area. The people at the desk are friendly. You can get tea or coffee there. The hotel room is medium sized. My room had a microwave oven and a mini fridge and television set. The unfortunate problem that I encountered with the room was I felt it was not clean. On the floor next to my bed was a pair of dirty socks. And the flooring was not particularly clean. On the rug there seemed to be a white blob which turned out to be a candy wrapper also there was a piece of plastic on the rug. I went to the desk to report this and requested that housekeeping should come up and clean the room. I also felt that there might have been soap scum on the bath tub. Obviously I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower there. No housekeeping came up to fix the room for me. The hotel also has a restaurant but no chief for lunch or dinner on the the weekend. This is the experience I had there. Maintenance was good and fixed the problem I had with the blind and bathroom door not locking. It seems to me that there was (is)a lot that needs (could) be done to improve this place before it deserves the name Hilton.

Upon arrival, the floor had debris, the bath sink had debris splattered with yellowish bits on the left side of the sink, the waste basket beneath the desk had a liner which was ripped and had not been replaced; the bottom of the can was wet with juices of a meal discarded (my guess, because it wasn’t water). The carpet was clearly not clean.I reported the issue to the front desk and requested the room to be fully cleaned the next day. The cleaning staff did come because the bed was made but room looked exactly the same. As I stood there befuddled, I looked down and saw a bent out safety pin on the carpet! So, with the safety pin in hand I went down again to talk to the front desk to explain, only to be put on hold' so he could answer an incoming call! I don’t think he saw the irony and frankly, I don’t think it’s his fault. He was trying his best. He did give me a different room. The next morning I again requested the room to be cleaned fully. I came back later that day again to find the room not cleaned. Poor kid apologized again and later came to my room with a small gift (bottled water and snacks!).The gym was super dusty and warm. Needless to say, I didn’t use the gym again. I don’t think it’s healthy or safe to work out in there!

Me and mine husband visited because it was my 20 year high school reunion! Great hospitality! The bartenders made some killer ??!

We came on a bus full on our way back from seeing the Ark. I asked the front desk lady for an extra blanket for my four year old and she responded with "I should of said we were full" She did get me a blanket but then handed it to me and said "Your welcome". None of this in a nice tone. I've always preferred the Hiltons and have never had a bad experience at one until now. It is hard to get good help right now though ?‍♀️

Great location for anything downtown Bloomington, Indiana and you can walk many places. Parking was not on property but very easy to access with great pricing. This is a comfortable, clean property! Would recommend!
