If I could give a negative star I would. I walk in and the owners were just staring at me like they didn’t want me there. They didn’t greet or anything.I wouldn’t mind so much if I paid for food that was not that great but still edible. BUT no, their food is so bad. I ordered chicken fried rice, and the chicken was white. It was so greasy. I was really hungry, but I lost all my appetite. Like how do you mess up on fried rice?? I also ordered steamed dumplings. Omg it was not edible at allll. I swear I’ve been to so many restaurants, I’ve never left a review before. This place is just so horrible. No words will ever be enough to describe how bad it is. I have been going here for years! Over 20 years and counting! Being here at Indiana University was capped off with one of my favorite restaurants, Dragon Express. It brings back a lot of good memories. The food is great and the hot tea is always free. Still is! I bring my kids who soon will be Hoosiers themselves and they love the Chinese fare. Still great food and still great prices. Recommended.
A very reliable and place for delicious Chinese takeout for less than $10. They have a very large menu, and the food is consistently very good. The wait time is low. The only real downside is you are unable to use card to pay, it's either cash or check. Overall I would recommend.
Dragon Express needs to offer card processing with a surcharge fee that is passed on to customer.Writing a check is problematic and getting cash from A.T.M. at restaurant locale costs more money than a card processing surcharge fee
Very good food for a very good price. I like that the kitchen staff will adapt a recipe if I ask for it due to allergies and personal taste. Thanks for the quick service every time we've ordered over the past 25 years!p.s itChristmas Day (2021) tradition in our family is to make or order food from another country or ethnic group. Last year was Finland; this year is Mandarin China! Thanks for contributing Dragon Express! ?
Don’t know why but the owner has been extremely mean and rude.
Actually wish I could review these folks but they dont take cards. Its pretty cheap of them. Seriously “cash and check only.” Who writes a check anymore? Its 2021.
