Did they get a new chef? Galbi jim got four ribs with plenty of watery sauce. It got more bones than meat, and no potatoes in it. I guess it is not the traditional galbi jim I know. I literally had to pay almost $20 for 4 bones with a little bit of meat on them, a little bit of veggies, and some noodles. Their foods had been amazing until today. I have been a loyal customer, but I guess I am not returning to Do anymore.
LIARS!!!!!!! AVOID!!!!!Avoid this place! Super Rude staff. Appetizer would come after you are done with the main course. Food is disgusting. That was in early March 2022 when I decided to eat in that place with other two friends. “I was a diner”Food would take forever, and the staff is super rude with the drivers picking up. They do not even start the food until you are there. I think they just like to be rude…The few people working there or “owners”are the rudest you will meet, wether you are dinning-in, carryout or picking up for any of the deliver app.Update: I reported your restaurant as well :)
The Korean food is good. What else can I say? I didn't expect much for a Korean restaurant in Indiana, but this place pleasantly surprised me. Some menus are better than others, but that's what you'd expect with a ginormous menu. Not all menus can be exceptional. But I've been more fond of the big menu despite the lack of quality. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to eat some of the menu unless I drive to Chicago.They have unique menus too, which I'm very happy about.
The owner or manager with the thin eyebrows has no customer service skills what so ever!!! She has been rude to me twice now and is completely unapologetic about it. The first time I went there she rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a seat. Then was rude when I asked where the menu was as it was my first time at the establishment. She stormed in the back rolling her eyes at me agin and she never came back out. This time I went for a birthday dinner with friends. When she brought my food out she essentially shoved it at me and again rolled her eyes at me. Then had the never to add a 8$ to the bill when she didn't even deserve it! She needs to get an attitude check immediately you don't treat people like that period.
I’ve been here a handful of times throughout the years and the food is pretty good with decent service. I always get the boneless Korean Fried Chicken with white rice on the side. Always comes out crispy and the sauce is great!
Rude staffing. Our group sat down and waited over ten minutes to get service before we were rudely told to move because another group had arrived. She claimed that the staff made a mistake and we were wrongly seated, but we had been sitting for at least 10 minutes before the new group walked in. We moved with no problem and had waters served to us at the new location. We were chatting for another 10 minutes before the same waitress came. She rudely told us this wasn’t the seat we were supposed to go to and told us to stand and wait until another table left. This wouldn’t of been an issue if we hadn’t been sitting there for ten minutes with no problem. The staff had even brought us all waters to the table we “were not supposed to sit at” with no complaint. I tried to professionally convey my disappointment to the waitress, to which she told me to “just leave if I had a problem.” Which we did! Horrible service and to the waitress to thin-drawn on eyebrows, I hope you find peace in life and find happiness so you can stop being a bitter person to everyone around you! Thank you
The service attitude here is horrible! The Korean lady didn't ask us what we want to drink until we reminded her 10 minutes later. After ordering, we had been waited for nearly half an hour and then she told us that we still need to wait another 45 minutes or she can cancel our order. What’s more, she complained that we ordered too few dishes and did not order full size. In the process of asking her politely, she even requested me to stop asking and wait until she finishes her excuses, which is unacceptable. My friend said this is not the first time she has had such a bad experience in this restaurant. We have so many other choices around the place, no need to have bad feelings here.
I went there for delivery. My mother had a phone shoved in her face when asking why the order was supposed to be ready 30 minutes previously, but they were just starting it. Her and I were told “I’m not the chef”, and extremely disrespected. By law we have a personal space that was violated when she has phone shoved in her face saying that’s not the time they had. I had such high respects to them before today because they were always nice and on time with delivery orders. However, now I’m reconsidering accepting any orders ever again from here because my mother and I were so poorly treated. On Yelp as well, they continued to make it my mothers fault instead of owning up to their actions. Claimed they reported her to DoorDash, after we already had reported them for the verbal and basically physical assault when she shoved the phone in her face. This is a place where we can explain our experiences, but yet customers just get berated by the owner and it’s the craziest thing I’ve ever experienced from customer service.
Massively underrated. Serving a wide variety of Korean, and Japanese dishes. Being a smaller place they offer a generous discount on take out orders that is hard to pass up. Best Korean fried chicken in Bloomington, hot and perfectly crispy every time!
the worst fried rice i’ve ever had in my LIFE. the rice was mushy & slimy and the “chicken” tasted extremely off. never eating here again. just thinking about the food is making me gag.
