Great Place to grab a sandwich near campus. The people working are nice and they have a large menu. Their sandwiches are also a good size!
It's usually pretty clean and I like the sandwiches a lot more than Jimmy John's or Subway. It's also one of the cheapest places to eat in town so I don't get the complaints about price. The sandwich I usually get is less than $9, and the average dish in Bloomington is usually $12-16
Mediocre sandwich place for an expensive price. Taste like something you could easily just prepare at home. Got the combo meal and it was $10 for a sandwich that looked like a burger. Dagwood’s competitors are much cheaper and much better tasting. Maybe I tried the wrong sandwich? Because the reviews made it seem like it was very good but it’s very meh.I’d recommend going to another sandwich place or just making one at home. Most likely won’t be returning.Is it edible? Yes. Is it worth buying? Hard Pass.
So good! Maybe my favorite sandwich place of all time. I no longer live in Bloomington, but I try to stop in and get something every time I'm back in town. Everything always tastes so fresh. Looking forward to my next visit!
Dagwood's is long known for their expirience and quality in Bloomington. Their sandwiches are always great and they don't severely limit the amount of meat or other ingredients. However, most of the time that I have gone, the staff felt like they were angered/annoyed that they had to help you.
This place sells excellent sandwiches, chips, soft drinks, and cookies. A sandwich costs around $8-10 and is big enough for a full meal. The service is pretty quick and friendly. The restaurant is very clean.
We had a quick lunch while visiting the IU campus. Our sandwiches were delicious! Would recommend for those looking for a tasty subs.
I so could use a dagwood supreme right now. Left Bloomington in 2008 and to this day it's the best sandwich I've had. Every other deli/sandwich shop I go to has yet to have a compripal sandwich. Looking forward to my next time to Bloomington so I can come and get a few more.

Delivery was wrong missing half the food and they pretty much just tried to get me to pay for another delivery in order to get it right. Rude customer service from the manager as well. She hung up on my wife without solving any issues
