We stopped in because we're looking for a place that serves breakfast. Oh my goodness. This place is wonderful! Large menu of delicious food. Generous portions, incredibly fast service, and so friendly! We had the large biscuits and gravy with me as well as pancakes and cam. Plus a piece of coconut pie.All for less than $25. Great comfort food at great prices with great friendly, fast service.
Every place is having trouble maintaining staff. However, that is not the problem here. Coffee mugs had several chips along the rim, two plates had hair on the food, coffee was burned, food was below average, place is rough to say the least, dirty and tired. I am not a fuddy duddy, but man, it was bad. All this with premium prices. Will not return.
Great food, always brought hot and fresh to your table. There is a waitress there I want to give a shout out too for remembering our regular order after just one time of ordering it!! Crystal thank you for showing us the best service possible!! ??
Our meals were delicious. Our waitress was quick and friendly. Started up a conversation with her. Very pleasant girl. The restaurant was clean and inviting.
Always look for local non-chain restaurants and bars to support. The place is quite large on the inside, doesn’t look like that on the outside. Service was fast, courteous and welcoming. Food was better than expected, overall a nice family restaurant. We had breakfast.
It had been a long time since I ate here. My wife, grandson and I stopped in for a quick brunch. Just had about 40 minutes. The food was excellent and was served very fast. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good home cooked food.
Hands down best place to eat breakfast at 5am.. and for the price you can't beat it
Breakfast and lunch are delicious. Food was brought out quickly. Waitress was very nice.I love the hasbrowns so much ?
Wonderful food and service. Price was very good for the amount of food. Very friendly service amd great atmosphere. Will definitely go back!!
The old 'saw' says, "Poor service...poor food." With this place, some days you might catch it being good...other days, you'll do better at Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel. You never know which day you'll get at Cloverleaf. They have the staff, but the staff has no enthusiasm for service. Waited 14 mins before being approached for coffee. Another 28 mins to get my cold, mediocre breakfast. This place reminds me of my high school cafeteria....even LOOKS like it. No warmth to an atmosphere that approaches what you might encounter at a "wake". It's like eating at a Moose Lodge on a Saturday special, or at a rescue mission. The staff seem depressed. Never saw even one smile among them. They talk a lot with each other, though. Tried to talk friendly to my waitress but finally decided she may be a mute.If the Cloverleaf is a family restaurant, they must be The Adams Family. The food is almost as good as McDonalds. Asked for crisp bacon and somehow, it came out petrified, as if it was plastic. The omelette was as dry as the Sonoran Desert.Maybe they do a little better after the funeral. On the positive side, I didn't get food poisoning.
