This place was very well priced for the amount of food we got. The wait time for food was a little long however. But other than that the service was great and the atmosphere. Our waiter gave us extra croissants.
The chain does a good job with standards and this location was no different. Clean and Enjoyable. The Food is plentiful & good. Staffing shortage has definitely hit this location hard. Not the staffs fault but everything was slow, and messy. We had a group of 8. A 30min wait was about 60. The manager made it a point to greet tables, introducing herself and assisting with food delivery with just about every table. We had to ask several times to get refills or to take empty plates, cups, appetizers off the table just to make room. Food was good and as ordered and the managers attempt is what i am helping helped my rating.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Menu is reasonably priced to comparables restaurants. Highly recommend.
The burgers are good, and so are the onion rings and onion strings. However, I was told they no longer offer onion rings or onion strings. The chicken fingers were a bit hard. The broccoli was great. Outdoor seating was a nice option for a good weather day.
My friend and I stopped at this Cheddars to eat on our way to Evansville as we love the one in Lafayette. Much to our disappointment, our experience was one of the worst we've ever had at a restaurant.When we arrived, we stood at the front desk and were not greeted for several minutes. We requested to be seated in the bar area and were told it was a 5-10 minute wait, which is fine. However, when we went to follow the hostess, she started to lead us in the opposite direction. I asked her about sitting in the bar area and she said "Oh, yeah, you can just go in there and pick a seat"My friend and I walked in and picked on of the only clear table tops in the bar area, 3-4 of the other tables were covered in food/dishes waiting to be bussed. Those same tables were still dirty when we left after eating. That is not to say they were short staffed. . . . in fact approx. 5-7 waiter/waitresses spent the majority of the time sitting at or standing around the bar chatting and texting.Waiting for a server to come, another customer had to approach the staff crowded around the bar to ask for their check. Our "server" never approached us, we were waited on by the bartender and she didn't use anything to write our order down. Both my friend and I ordered medium rare ribeye meals, nothing too complicated.The croissants were incredibly dry and burnt, the food arrived and they gave me the wrong cut of steak (t-bone instead of ribeye), both steaks were well-done as opposed to medium rare and the two sides on both plates were not in separate dishes so the steak juices were all over the sides. The broccoli casserole was dry, the carrots were undercooked.Once we were served our food, no one came to check on us again until handing us the check. And despite my friend asking for A1 sauce when the food was delivered, the bartender promptly forgot and I had to get up and get it myself.When using the restrooms, I didnt even want to sit down - They were disgusting. The women's toiletry bins were overflowing on the floor and there was trash all over the floor. One of the stalls was covered in what I hope was water and not pee -Overall, Im amazed. . . in the worst possible way. Train your staff to be more competent when it comes to food service, clean your restaurant & bathrooms, and have your chefs get retrained on how to cook a proper steak.

Staff was friendly and helpful. A professional environment. Would love to eat there again if they would just change the grease in the fryer. The grease was old and made the chicken taste bitter. This is the 2nd time we've eaten there and it was the same last time, old cooking oil. I love the fish tank.
The food was awesome. I ordered a rib eye steak with cooked carrots and broccoli cheese casserole and it was about $17 dollars. Great deal!! They have all you can eat croissants with a honey butter that's amazing. They have seafood and sandwiches too. The restaurant is clean and the customer service was great. I would come back for sure.
I was looking for tasty low calorie meals. I had the Key West chicken and shrimp for 540 calories and that includes rice. Cheddar's offers an array of vegetables and you can find low-calorie offerings among those. The food was really good and I will order the Key West chicken and shrimp again. Service was good even though the restaurant was busy.
Awesome experience! It was me and my husbands first time eating at Cheddars on Friday night on March 11th, 2022. Our hostess let us sit anywhere and acknowledged us almost immediately after walking in. This was impressive especially since they looked as if they were fairly busy. We also had a male employee hold the door open for us. Our waiter Jason was friendly with a sense of humor, quick, & gave recommendations. I got the veggie plate where you get the choice of 4 sides and a salad. All of the sides I tried at Cheddars, including the salad, were delicious on their own (I've never been able to say that about a place before). My husband got an 8oz steak, fries, with the broccoli & cheese casserole & he enjoyed his meal as well. We ended up having to take the slice of chocolate cake desert home which was also delicious. We would most definitely come back to eat here in the future.
