Stromboli was good as usual. Service was good. It was cold inside but big disappointment was they had no magnetic calendars. I been collecting since '93. Still the best Strom in town.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My husband and I were walking around on campus and it was time for lunch. So we walked down and saw this place and decided to go in. No one greeted us so we sat ourselves. One of the employees walked over and asked if anyone had talked to us yet. We said no and he asked how we got our menus. Well we picked them up and sat down. We ordered water, which took forever to come. The server checked on us a couple of times and asked if we wanted an appetizer while we waited. We were talking and realized we had been there for 40 min and we hadn't gotten our food. The server came over again and said "what are you guys waiting on?" We told him what we had ordered. He went back to check, he had not submitted our order and came back over to ask if we wanted an appetizer. We said no and asked if our food had even been cooked yet. He said it was just going in. He forgot to put in our order and didn't even realize it for 45 minutes. We will never give them another try.
Stopped in last monday during the busy rush and our server was Gabby. Even though she seemed to be very busy and had a lot of tables, she definitely always made sure she was taking good care of us and got us what we needed. The pizza was good, not the typical pizza I’m used to, being from Chicago.
Sat there for 40 mintues after ordering server comes up says what you guys waiting on and we said our food. He completely spaced putting in our order. There was maybe 6 people at the restaurant. Horrible service would not recommend
This is an iconic eatery in Bloomington. Yet sometimes the food is great and sometimes not so much..last time I ate there unfortunately was the later.
As excellent as I remembered. Love the salads & pizza. Relaxing place to catch up with friends. We have been enjoying the food and atmosphere for over 30 years. Always try to stop when we visit from Florida.
Cool place, good pizza. A few tables outside for outdoor eating. Unfortunately, no gluten free options.
The old time atmosphere and photos are awesome. I loved all the Bob Knight photos. The staff was friendly and the food came out quick and hot. The stromboli I got had enough meat on it that fell out i could make another sandwich. The food there is great. I will come back.
Breadsticks were phenomenal and the pizza was great! Katie S. was an attentive and friendly server, we had a great time!
