I stopped by here for a beer and some food while I was passing through Bloomington. It's a nice and friendly pub with outdoor seating as well as a bar inside. I ordered an IPA and the fish and chips. They were excellent. The place was pretty crowded on a weekday evening, which is a good sign that it's pretty popular with the locals. I would go here again and I probably will if I ever find myself back in Bloomington again.

This is my first bad experience with Big Woods. I just graduated and came back to Bloomington to move out and all I wanted was Big Woods Mac ‘n Cheese. I placed an order for pickup and was very disappointed in what I received. Not only was it a much smaller portion than normal, it had no flavor and tasted completely different than it has in the past. I’ve attached a photo for reference of the disappointing portion size. We had two orders of Mac ‘n Cheese and both were this size. It seemed like they just split one order into two. It was not worth the almost $40 I spent (including a tip I gave them because I’ve always received better) and the extreme disappointment I felt.

We visited this place while they were completely slammed, and you'd never know it by the service! I never saw anyone from the wait staff stop moving. With a packed dining area and patio, our waiter still dropped off refills and gave us regular updates on our food. And once the food was out, it was amazing! Best food we had on our whole trip. I can see why locals were lined up. 10/10 would recommend.

Experienced of a lifetime when you are travelling as part of your career Hotels B&B became your 2nd home Places becomes your past times and hobbies and this place takes my breath away in the nicest possible way. when the sayings says… picture can describe a thousands words; well in my view couldn’t find more specific word to turn it into something spectacular cause that’s exactly how I would describe this place indeed.

We walked in around 4:45pm on a Saturday and it was already starting to get busy. The steak salad was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their food. The service is always outstanding here.

We love this place and visit every time we’re in town. This is the spot that first introduced us to Hard Truth. (Locally owned distillery) we love it because it’s cozy and small and honestly the BEST burgers. They are cooked and seasoned perfectly. The brew burger is my fav. Don’t sleep on the truffle fries- they’re killer. Great drinks!

Quaint little place for a quick bite and some brews! Staff was friendly and the food was good. We had breadsticks with nacho cheese and garlic butter…absolutely delicious! Then we both got our own 10” pizzas. Hubby got hand tossed crust with pepperoni and banana peppers, and I had the Primal pizza with a thin crust. Pretty good stuff! Give this place a try if in the area!

If I could put a lower star rating I would. We made reservations at the Bloomington location for this evening. After arriving and placing our order we waited for an hour as others who came after us were served. There was no explanation and when nearly two hours passed the general manager said that she would comp our food but then the food never came and we left without dinner. I will never go back to this place again.

The pulled pork nacho cheese just has shredded cheese on it.. makes it hard to share with others once the cheese has cooled hard. Was good though. But i would suggest using your beer cheese or a soft cheese on them.

One of my favorite places to eat. They need more heat in outside tent. Food and service is always amazing.
