Friendly service! Hibachi & sushi. Sushi was really good! I grew up here but live by the ocean now & I'll tell you this...... For being in a land locked state I was surprised at how good it was.
This place has amazing lunch deals and the food never disappoints whenever I go! Highly recommend if you want something new and good!
Honestly, Asuka used to be good. But they’ve gone way down hill. Last night, they tried to serve us Italian noodles for the Japanese hibachi noodles.. that they most likely got at the international mart right down the street. And still charging 3 dollars extra.. do they think people won’t notice? I mean they are completely different noodles. Then they substituted it for fried rice that they didn’t even cook in front of us. Food wasn’t the greatest either. Then as we are leaving, we see a cockroach trying to crawl up my chair. Be careful for overcharge and not clean restaurant
Awesome dishes. Depending upon your choices you can eat a low cost or expensive meal. If you lean toward being vegetarian there are many delicious selections. The questionable thing is the waitresses kind of laugh at u in your face and were a bit rude. This was my first visit and if the food was not good I would never go back.
The spring rolls were crisp and yummy. The eggs rolls were also tasty with the textures of an egg roll that I love. For my main dish, I ordered the Roast Pork and Shrimp wonton with Mai Fun (Thin White Rice Noodle) Soup. It was TASTY. I would recommend everything I ate again. I've ordered one of the bento box lunches twice before, once in person and once for pickup, and enjoyed them as well.
Great sushi! They make it quick. Wear something warm they aren't shy with the ac.
I rarely eat Sushi due to a shellfish allergy. But Asuka has several alternate options to choose from so I can enjoy along with my friends. Service is quick, food is great and place is clean.
This is one of the most consistently outstanding restaurants we visit in Bloomington. The facility is well maintained and clean. The staff are always very attentive and provide nothing but great service from arrival to departure. The food is high quality and served quickly (my favorites are the Roast Pork & Pork Wonton Soup and Vegetables Tempura, shown). The menu is very extensive and items are appropriately priced. During COVID restrictions, they had the best contact-less takeout operation of all the restaurants we had ordered from. Our family has given Asuka our business for many years and will no doubt continue to do so.
