Service was slow but hey in today's society that should be expected. The food was fresh and hot! The spicy chicken sandwich was amazing. I'd put this up against any chicken sandwich.
Not only was the service slow and terrible, but they forgot half of our sides. Which is probably for the best because after biting in to an ice cold chicken tender I had no appetite for anything else from this awful location. Also maybe fix your soda machine so people aren't just sipping on straight syrup. If I could give negative stars I would. Eat anywhere but Popeyes while in Anderson.
The red beans and rice where amazing as usual. unfortunately they where out of spicy thighs when I was there. Great service super nice employees. Would have given 5 stars but I really wanted that spicy thigh.
Not going to lie, do not get them through doordash. You honestly cannot blame doordash when they're not the ones behind that counter making the food. Had ordered my food and waited over an hour To finally get my food. When the app had told me it was a 25 minute wait. Asked the doordash what happened and he told me they were just going super slow... I kept checking the app to see and the dasher was correct... Top it off to not even get the order correct... Cant call and complain when all restaurant will say is call and complain to doordash when THEY ARE NOT THE ONES MAKING THE FOOD OR DOING THE ORDER, THE JUST PICK THE FOOD UP!
I got a 3 piece spicy combo with mashed potatoes, my GF had a chicken sandwich and fries. The best part of mine was the skin and mashed potatoes and my drink. Hers was dried out too. Not the best experience
The service has been awesome the last few times I was there. I used to not like going in there very much. Food was good.
This location has been great so far in terms of happy employees willing to help a Popeye’s newbie out. My favorites so far are the chicken with the blackened ranch dipping sauce, as well as the red beans and rice and the beignets! They also have a frozen strawberry lemonade right now that was really tasty but melted back to liquid fast ?
Went through drive thru, and they had my food ready extremely quickly! I was quite impressed! It was hot, too. Best service I've had there.
Anderson popeyes is a joke, chicken is always horrible .
Chicken tenders were old, chewy, just nasty, like it set out way too long.. They're definitely, not worth, $38.and change We both got the same order, both awful, ??They fixed the problem, we're happy. Guess, nothing is always perfect, but Curtis made the bad experience, into the right thing to do. TY.
