The food and service was HORRIBLE!! I ordered the special of liver and onions and my husband had open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes covered in gravy.My sides were baked potato and "sautéed spinach. That spinach looked horrible and she said it's steamed spinach. I reminded her that the menu item is sautéed spinach and I couldn't eat that. She got an attitude and rudely said what else you want. I asked for a menu and said I'll let her know because I planned on taking it home. By this time, I was halfway done. I heard the lady behind me order mac and cheese which wasn't on the menu. I asked for that as the substitute. She brought back a bowl of what looked like boxed kraft mac and cheese. ?I asked to speak to the manager. She came over and said there's nothing she could do since we both ordered the "specials". Fine I said. She also confirmed that it was frozen Kraft mac and cheese!!!! I don't expect to get this from a restaurant!!! She was very rude herself!!She said that's how their spinach is and also called it steamed spinach. I questioned why it's marketed as sautéed spinach then... she had no answer for that. To be honest, my husband's mashed potatoes looked like instant potatoes.We happened to have been at the casino in Anderson and decided to stop there before heading back to Indy.I'm usually a big tipper but did not leave any tip after that. This was my first time going and I won't be going back. You shouldn't either!!!
I love Perkins. The food is always great. There's never a wait and you get pie at the end. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here honestly.
Great food and service in a clean environment. Hash brown potatoes were cooked as requested and the Granny's County Omelet was excellent as well.
One of our favorite places to eat! Delicious food served by friendly and helpful staff. We come here at least once a week. I highly recommend Perkins! They have breakfast all day long and it's delicious!
Was my first time ever eating at this restaurant and I'm usually extra picky when it comes to eating somewhere new so for me not to have ANY complaints at all, not even about the super friendly staff, says that you guys are DEFINITELY amazing. PLEASE keep up the awesome work
We had a great time at Perkins. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Great place for children. Saturday kids eat free!
So sorry to give this review. My husband myself, sister came to enjoy food that was fabulous. Great service..we travel from Greenfield,so alot of the time our first stop is the restroom. The women's had a broken light fixture with no light. Mens..someone had vomited in sink, no urinal available. Please try to do better.
This staff is friendly and took care of us right away. The food is great. All round great experience
Almost always have a great experience. Love the food and most of the employees I've encountered. Once or twice while getting carry out, they have forgot small items like ketchup or cutlery, but never anything big.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Yes, they are usually understaffed. This does not stop them from great food and customer service. If we can go out for breakfast or dinner we always check if there is a seat free at Perkins. (Steak is bland but I prefer it that way) from pancakes to club sandwich to the fish dinner.10/10 would recommend anyone visiting!
