Hire a better wait staff. Lana, I believe was her name (that is what it said on the bill) was the worst server I have ever had an experience with. Took 15 minutes to come back to take our order (we were the only customers when we got there). Chicken seemed old like it had been frozen and thawed multiple times. She came to the table one time to check after the food was delivered and got my kids refills. Waited almost 40 minutes for her to finally bring the bill and was supposed to get us a box but we never got the box. Food wasn't worth asking again for the box. terrible terrible food. Decided to try again since we went back in December and that was our last try. Same server as we had the last time. Will never be back to Nicks and would not recommend anyone to go there.
**** breaded tenderloin, bit thin but nicely seasoned** grilled tenderloin, tough and dry**** onion rings, could be a bit crispier** fries, soft, no crisp, needed second frying*** cole slaw**** service: friendlyWe'd go again for the breaded tenderloin. I prefer tenderloins that are bun size and not so thick, but it had good seasoning. Lost 1 star as they wouldn't wrap our order in foil but put it in styrofoam (an unrecyclable oil based product).
Recently remodeled and reopened. Clean nicely arranged and decorated. Tables chairs and booths sanitized between customers. Food as good as usual. Prices up a little but no more than anywhere else. Breaded tenderloin was excellent. Waitress was only one on floor could tell she was busy and stressed but even though she didn't smile alot she was on top of her customers needs and got orders right. Music was not too loud.
Service was terrible and only took cash. Building needs a face-lift. Food was good though. Seams to of once shined bright and has fallen down hill. I probably won't try it again.
Mine wasn't fixed as ordered but tasted very good. Waitress had it correct the cook must not have paid attention. Onion rings good but not up to they're old standard. 2 people with me did not enjoy they're meals. One ordered off mexican menu and meat was very tough and other said the flavor was bad on her meal. Had been looking forward to the reopening. 1 ? and 2 ?
Stood at waitress station for over 5 minutes while the waitress, Shayne, kept looking over at my group. When asked if we could make a to go order she literally walked away. The other waitress took our to go orders. This used to be a wonderful, friendly restaurant, but unfortunately it has changed. This may be my last visit to this establishment.
the Arroz con Pollo didn't really have any cheese on it (kinda dry),rice not all done, onion rings were very greasy and cold,Nick's burger didn't have any grilled onions as described, the Nick's sauce was all over the container, the lettuce was not fresh, discolored, and not crisp at all...very disappointed for the prices!
They prepared my wonderful breaded tenderloin and onion rings in short order and I was quickly on my way home to enjoy my meal.
It was just as good as it was last year when it had to close down do the pandemic the food and the atmosphere and the people are great there recommend it for anyone who wants a fine meal
I wish they had rating for food and customer service separately. The food is great as it has been for years, but the customer service isn't what it was years ago. I called to place an order for a dinner that was missing on an order from a few days before. I also was adding a pizza and 1 more dinner, to duplicate it. Before I finished my first sentence, the gal began to tell me she put the dinner in and I wasn't missing it. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was. I was not nice from that point because, all I wanted to do was get what I was owed and purchase the rest. I just can't believe that prices are up, but the quality of customer service is missingI was able to call and talk to the actual manager Heather, and I do apologize to her for anyone thinking she was the one handling the situation. She was very professional, and I wanted to get this out there.
