What a great find. I'm in town this week and visited this place on my first and third nights. The ribs on the first day were amazing. I'm used to using an apple cider vinegar base in my ribs. These had a sweet apple flavor and were amazing. Fork tender.The t-bone, that is pictured, was one of the best tasting steaks I've ever had. It was also very tender; not fork tender, but pretty close.I've had some conversations with some locals about this place. They've told me the service isn't great. I visited twice and had no problems. I recommend trying this place out if you're in town.
Wonderful service, and delicious food.Stopped here on a whim traveling from Tennessee to Michigan and I'm I'm glad we did!The honey butter was so good, and the Mac and cheese was so deliciously creamy! I was worried about ordering the mushrooms as a side, because they can be a hit or a miss, but they were SCRUMPTIOUS. I ate every bite!The steak was one of the best steaks I've had in a while, and cooked to perfection! I did use their specialty sauce that was on the table with it (not because of the quality of the steak, I'm just a sauce lover of all kinds) and I so wish I could buy my own bottle!The decor is pretty awesome, my husband and I walked around looking at it all. Definitely recommend, and so glad we stopped here instead of Cracker Barrel like we had planned! Ha!
We were quick to get a table. Our food was delicious and the draft beer was so good and cold! Our server was very good and helpful!
My friend and I ate dinner there on April 1st. Our server, Kristina spilled an entire glass of raspberry tea all over the table wetting my jeans. She was very apologetic and I reassured her that accidents happen.I went to the restroom to dry off as best I could. Upon returning to the dining room, my friend had moved us one booth over. We finished our dinner while other diners made sympathetic comments as they walked by our table. Kristina never came back to refill my tea which was empty for the last 15 minutes of our meal. I imagine she was maybe scared of a repeat performance. My friend said she was impressed with my calmdemeanor and my concern for the waitress instead of my own discomfort. I told her that I feel that in today’s world we need calm rational adults to model decent behavior for others (we’re both retired educators). We both left very generous tips. I was surprised however that the manager did not come over to apologize and or comp my meal.
We were seated right next to kitchen, loud & the light was right in you face. I asked to be moved to another table. This is not a popular request, we were moved but not without eye rolling & some groaning under his breath. Food was outstanding, servicec was okay, probably due to under staffing.
Serve did great job! Chef in back could not get medium right . Came out under cooked raw! Sent it back burnt the top and bottom half medium other half still medium rare now. Manger came by we let her know. ! Only got a apologizes and walked off! Now am done eat wife still eat watch other tables get there food delivery and out of the 6 tables 2 more sent food back! New chef on duty watch out!
They have the best friend mushrooms and zucchini. I go there just for this but enjoy the entrees as well. I forget what the chicken was called (I subtracted the honey mustard and add peppers) but it's great. Desserts are fantastic. The carrot cake reminds me of grandma's homemade cake and their sundaes are big enough to share with a brownie that actually tastes homemade vs store bought with ice cream on top like lots of places try to pass off. So good. Service is always great. (You can eat cheaper than what we did. We got everything but drinks. Believe me...you want to. Take some home so you can have it all!)
Was not really impressed with the food. Waited quite a while for our dinners and when we got them, the steaks were overcooked. Didn't complain as we didn't want to wait any longer for them to make it right. Our waitress was good. It wasn't her fault. We were not greeted at the door. The restroom needed some major attention. Won't be back if we can help it.
Very good bread. Good Bison burger. Seems like they r a little crazy about onions, yikes, I'm not an onion fan. The service was ok, not personable, so the server didn't try to interact at all and was a little slow. Great decor, good food, would go back & give the service another try.
Yummy food ? and great service every time I go. Shout out to Destiny, she was our server this last time and was so friendly and fantastic! I always get the sirloin and it's tender, Mac and cheese is delicious! Also love the side salad.
