Burner account for anonymity.I came in the other day and bought a few things off the shelves. This was my first time coming in and I was very excited. The young girl at the counter was friendly and did her job well. However in the middle of the transaction the cook came out and was yelling at the girl in front of me and the other couple customers. The girl didn't argue and was respectful but the cook was just flat-out rude. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Not to mention the girl couldn't have been more than 16. When the girl turned back to me, she had tears in her eyes and she apologized profusely. She went to finish ringing up my items but the cook told her to clock out - her excuse was that yes, she had scheduled the girl until 12, (this was around 11:30) but she couldn't afford to pay her until then - and refused to let her finish. She had to clear the order and clock out and then get another server to re-ring up everything. This infuriated me because not only did I have to wait three times as long for something that would've taken 2 minutes tops but the poor hostess was probably humiliated. Not giving this garbage any more business if that's how her MINOR employees are treated.Not to mention the snickerdoodle cookies were like sand - flavor was okay but it was extremely dry. The iced coffee was overly sweet. The kitchen did not appear clean and the air/atmosphere felt heavy with grease.Will not be returning. Hope she loses her business because that's not how you run a business or treat children.
Definitely a must if you are in the Anderson/Edgewood area. Great food, desserts, and coffee served by their fantastic staff.
Cookies and cinnamon roll were hard as rocks. Couldn't bite into them, and they had no flavor. The cakes were dry and crumbled to the touch. The German choclate tasted more like cheap devil's food cake than actual German's chocolate. Extremely overpriced for the quality.
We had heard good things about this place so being new to town we decided to give it a try. What a disappointment! We ordered drinks and food and it was horrid. We didn’t dare say anything but we vowed to not go back. I don’t know if that’s their normal quality but if it is I don’t know how they stay in business. My 12 year old can make better food. And fyi I’m not a hater, I have nothing against these people again we’re new in town and we’re hoping for as the sign says delights but that’s not what we got at all.
Bought a dozen cupcakes which were excellent. They have a breakfast menu I haven't tried. Nice folks. Limited seating, it's a small place
I have a dear elderly friend who loves carrot cake. This past weekend was the second time I ordered one for her. She was delighted and always says it's the best she has ever had. I agree. I also can't leave without a toffee cookie. Their cheesecakes are wonderful as well.
We came for breakfast and had an amazing experience. The lattes were delicious, eggs were cooked to perfection and we couldn’t stop raving about the hash browns. Great place to stop for a cup of coffee or full breakfast. The service is very friendly. Looking forward to our next trip
I ordered several cookie cakes from Heaven's Delight Bakery. She worked with me as they were special ordered with special flavors. I was able to pick up the cookie cakes on time and they were delicious. The cookie cakes were a big hit at the party! Thank you!
