We had a party of 20 people which I understand is a big hassle (myself and half of the party attending work in restaurants). We had called 2 days prior and they told us it wouldn’t be a problem. Our party arrived between 6-6:30. Apparently there was only one server for the entire restaurant so automatically we were not expecting 5 star service.We received a first round of drinks (all waters and maybe 3 bar drinks) and chips for the table. 30-45 minutes later is when the server came back to take our order (yes she didn’t come back at all for the first 30-45 minutes) but that was fine because we knew she was the only server. We placed our food order and a few more bar drinks at 7 pm. 30 minutes went by with no drinks.A couple of us went to the bar to at least grab the drinks just trying to 1.get our drinks and 2. help her out a little bit (maybe she was too busy to bring them back to us in a timely manner).The bartender then proceeded to tell one of us that “You guys are the reason we are short staffed. Someone told us you guys were going to cancel so we sent all of our other servers home” ????? In what world would a restaurant send home “all of their servers” at 6 pm mid dinner rush??? I am not sure.He made us feel very uncomfortable as we were trying to be patient, understanding, and helpful to our server.8 pm food came out. A few entrees were cold, server took one entree back and had fresh tacos made. However the steak was very tough and not very edible. Overall the food was lukewarm, took an hour (which is okay considering we had a large party), flavorless, and not worth the wait.We never received water refills, chip & salsa refills, and very little communication.What really struck me however was the 2 fruit flies that were found in 2 separate margaritas. The server was never around however for us to tell her.NO management whatsoever came to communicate anything with us. NO manager was seen helping the 2 employees we saw working, no apologies or accommodations for the poor service and horrible food, no nothing but our poor server who barley spoke to us.AGAIN myself and multiple others all work in restaurants and know very well how unfortunate being understaffed can be. HOWEVER, please do no say YES to a party of 20 coming in if you can not even give the bare minimum quality of service. We would have totally respected the decision if you had said “unfortunately we are very short staffed and will not be able to accommodate your party” so we could have enjoyed a meal elsewhere.Kids chicken tenders were also garbage. Our two boys who are not picky did not want to eat them as they were burnt and rock hard.
The tortilla soup is excellent my steak burrito very good ceviche OK the sauce is very mild but they give me a Habanero one was just excellent very good service I will return again

The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend the guacamole and soup. Will definitely be back! I see that most of these reviews are negative and from a long time ago. I would recommend going now as the food was good and the wait wasn't long when we went.
I live nearby and have been here many times. The food is consistently good but the service is remarkably poor every time. I used to own some restaurants so I’m very sympathetic but I also know bad employees/ service when I see it.This place had just opened and then the pandemic hit so it never had a chance to get on its feet, and as such, I’d imagine figuring out appropriate staffing or to get good staff has been difficult? I felt really bad for them, the timing was horrible. Service though has always been bad, not because they have been short staffed (I could understand that), in fact they weren’t busy the times I’ve been in there; which makes the poor service even harder to understand. First, I’ve interacted with people at the DMV who are more personable then the people here. Whenever I’ve been in there, I see people just standing waiting for a To-Go or to be seated who don’t get acknowledged for an uncomfortable amount of time. Not even “ I will be right with you” which goes a remarkably long way. I’ve seen people walkout because of this. I see people having to go up to the bar to get refills on drinks when a server should have gotten it. I had the bartender stand right in front of me looking at my empty glass and never asking me if I want a refill….I’m sitting at the bar.The staff here doesn’t knows how to multitask or prioritize so that they can be more efficient. If a drink needs to be made the bartender is tunnel visioned for the next ten minutes. The only reason I ever bother to dine in at times is so I can eat chips (which u don’t get in a To Go order). They don’t even have enough sense to unlock both the front doors. I came one night and thought it was closed because one of the doors was locked, which is a possibility because this place doesn’t keep consistent hours and I didn’t see anyone in there. Fortunately I tried the other door, viola!They do have a new women working and she at least seems like she has some experience. I hope when it warms up things pick up because the foods is good and they have a fun outdoor and bar area and I’d love to see this place do we’ll. In the meantime this place needs to embrace every customer that comes in or at least act like they are glad they did. Just a lot of what I can only describe as “indifference” here with the staff.
Very impressed! Tacos amazing! Margaritas WOW! This is a staple and will be back. Love the decor and the service was excellent!!
This place is fantastic. Great tacos, fajitas, soup, enchiladas, and churros. Cool bar, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. I will definitely keep coming back for more.
Great food. We love walking right out of our apartment and eating dinner in the plaza. 5 stars.
